"Probably my fault but I didn't realize deposit had to be in cash. So had to scramble to find ATM to get $300. Then checking out they doubled the cleaning fee on us. They didn't provide toilet paper or dish soap and had to go to the store to buy some. Would have been nice to know there was no toilet paper before going to the bathroom."

"Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."

"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. "We spent two nights at the gites with a group of 20. We don't speak French, but we wanted to see Mont Saint Michel. The manager didn't speak English, so we had a communication problem from the beginning. We needed sheets , and the cleaning fee did not seem optional, so the cost was higher than I anticipated from the ad. The gites were clean and secure. There was ample dishes for cooking and meals. A great place to visit and rest!

"Our stay was for 2 nights. The room was nice & warm in 30 degree weather. The bed was comfortable and the room was great for what we needed. We opted in for breakfast and it was as delicious as last time. The parking was less expensive since last time we visited in March and parking rates vary. This time it was 28 Euro 14 Euro per day. The free shuttle is great to get us to the mountain. We will be back again in the future for a third trip!"

"When staying on the island, it is incredible walking around late at night or early in the morning where the shops are closed and the town is empty of people. The town is magical. Watching the tide roll in or out is impressive, as there is a 20km shoreline from high and low tides. "
