"Overall we enjoyed our stay at Portou House. Our room was on the top floor. There was some hanging space but not a lot of storage other than one drawer. The bed was really comfortable and toiletries and a hairdryer were peovided. The room would benefit from soundproofing as there was a bit of noise from a nearby restaurant, however this did not spoil our stay. The rooms are in a great location. We would definitely return. "

"We stayed here last year for a few nights to be in the heart of Chania old town - there is nothing negative to say - the property is lovely - especially with the outdoor space - and the proximity to everything. One thing to bear in mind are the stairs to get into the property and to get to the roof terrace - not really for children or someone with mobility issues. "

"We were the 2nd renter at this location. Had a few hiccups with having coffee for the coffer maker and not having hot water for showers our last 2 days. They use solar system for hot water and for some reason could not figure out how to make it work. Loved that this was in the quieter part of Chania, more where locals lived. Easy to walk to other parts of town and felt safe at night. Loved the hot tub on 3rd floor deck which was awesome to relax and had a good view.Stairs were pretty steep for...

"Eleanna met us at the apartment and helped get us settled in. It was late and we were very tired. She recognized our exhaustion and carefully explained everything we needed to know. The apartment and rooftop terrace were even better in person than in the photos. The location was fantastic! It was close to everything. The double windows kept out the noise from the restaurant downstairs. I would have loved to stay longer."

"Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean. Good size. No noise at all as no traffic going through streets near to property. Great air con and blackout curtains ensuring a good nights sleep. Good communication before and during stay. Gorgeous communal roof terrace and we also had a balcony too which was lovely. Great location for old town and harbour. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
