All guests, age 25 and up, staying at this property with Coastal Vacation Properties have been granted access to The Wonderer Charleston.

This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the Charleston peninsula.

The Wonderer includes a swimming pool, onsite eateries for breakfast, lunch, dinner, trendy cocktails, and of course poolside cabanas! It also includes an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

This unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2023-04391.

Guest Access:
Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost. Day Passes are available with required pre-registration via a link that will be shared with you upon booking.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

Please note: availability at The Wonderer is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The Wonderer has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management).

The Neighborhood:
This trendy area is within an easy walk of Charleston's top attractions and a quick, two-block walk from the bustling Upper King District which includes award-winning restaurants and shops. Some of our favorites include Halls Chophouse, The Darling Oyster Bar, Holey City Bagel, and Brown's Court Bakery.

Getting Around:
The Pink Lotus Penthouse is located in the heart of Downtown Charleston, which makes it easy to walk or bike to any of our local attractions/restaurants.

The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just 2 blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property. Any sign of pets will incur additional fees starting at $500.

Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood after 11pm daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please take the party inside and be considerate of the neighbors.

No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

Please note that this property does contain external security cameras at the driveway and entryways for your protection.

Extenuating Circumstances Hurricane Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

Great Location for Girls Trip
We had a wonderful visit to Charleston, and the location of this property is excellent. It is only a couple of blocks away from all of the restaurants and shopping on King Street. The condo was very clean, and the communication with the property manager was great. The neighborhood was very loud during our stay, since we visited over Halloween weekend. I would recommend installing weather stripping at the bottom of the exterior doors to help with outside noise and insects. Otherwise the condo was perfect for our group of 4 adults.

We had a lovely stay in Charleston. Pros- comfortable beds, good location, clean. Cons- walls were so thin it sounded like people in the street were in the house. Front bedroom very loud at night even with included white noise. Outlets in room limited. Storage limited but they did make an effort to maximize where they could.

Property was new, modern, and sparkling clean! Beds were comfy and kitchen had all amenities. Excellent communication with the host and vrbo before and during my stay. The location was a block and a half from King Street and everything you would want - bars, restaurants, bakery, bagels, coffee, and ice cream! Highly recommend ****

Excellent downtown location
Amazing location just around the corner from everything happening down on King Street. Super trendy decor & comfortable beds. Loved having the whole upstairs of the unit to myself and only 1 other guest party in the unit downstairs. The only thing I wish was different was there were large 1 and a 1/2 inch gaps under both the front door & back door (which is in the master bedroom), which let daylight, streetlights, street noise, and bugs in all day and night.

Perfect for a Bachelorette Trip
We had a great time here! It was perfect for our bachelorette group of 7. The beds were very comfy. We really loved the shower in the guest bathroom. The blue cabinets were adorable. There were two coffee makers. AC worked great and all rooms had fans. I would definitely stay here again!
