Downtown Charlevoix | Remodeled Unit

Pointes North Inn is one of Charlevoix's unique condominium suites that book like a hotel room. Book for the condo's privacy, stay for the hospitality. This gorgeous condo has a king-size bed with a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. There are granite countertops in the kitchen, one housing the stainless steel sink and a glass top table with seating for two. A two-person jetted tub is located in the bathroom along with the separate walk-in shower and the granite countered vanity. Cable television is in the living room and bedroom. The queen-sized sleeper sofa is in the living room along with a separate chair. Off the living room is the walk-out open patio with seating for two.
Pointes North Inn has high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building and coin-operated laundry on the second floor. The lobby area has seating which overlooks the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May. All this, just a stone's throw from downtown Charlevoix the beautiful.

Great Location
Perfect location for walking to all of downtown Charlevoix. The only reason for 3 stars is the unit is not very user friendly (ex: small vanity, no shelves & only 1 towel hook, one outlet by the bed was directly behind & in the center of the bed—you would have to crawl under the bed to access it).

Great location. However, the bedroom window was the condo hallway which was bright all night long. We had to turn the furnace off because it was way too hot to sleep. Had to open the slider to cool off the condo, but wasn’t successful. Super unfortunate about the water in shower. Took such a longtime to get warm and never got hot.

Loved it!
Everything about this stay was amazing from Heather at the front room to my beautiful, clean room to the beauty of Charlevoix. I would definitely stay here again. Had fun playing pickleball with the wonderful Charlevoix group of people. Loved it.

A perfect Anniversary Weekend
The location of this VRBO is unbeatable. You are right downtown Charlevoix! Super comfortable bed (we are actually going to find one and get it at home). Updates were great. We enjoyed our stay. We will most likely be back. Wifi was a little slow for some work that needed to be done when you are on the patio.

Wall half painted where air conditioner was replaced.Patio had a ladder, utility knife, caulk gun, nails and was dusty from the work. TV fell off the wall the first night and a glass shelf fell off the second night. Both during the night, which scared us out of our sleep. Property manager was very helpful and went above and beyond to make it right.

Needs some attention.
Location was wonderful. Room was cozy. However, we found cobwebs in the bedroom. Mattress on the fold out was flimsy at best. Sawdust and scrap wood littered the porch. Holes in the walls, odd paint job, and cables to internet tv and air conditioning was hanging around and on the fireplace. I wouldn’t recommend using the tub. Mounding in bathroom needs to be replaced. Perfect place to sleep if that’s all you were looking to do. Front door could use some leveling. The whole place could use some updates. Front desk staff was lovely and helpful.

When I looked under the bed to make sure nothing was left behind it was disgusting under the bed, not sure if it ever been vacuumed, ever. There was lots of dust on the hanging hair dryer. And the pull out couch was full of crumbs. It was a gross experience. The worst part when I wanted to change out the towels, I received wet ones back.

Perfect condo for two people. It could be a little too cozy for more than two people. Couch is really only big enough for 2, but doable if it's just a place to sleep. Jacuzzi tub was so nice! Nice tiled shower too! Bed was quite luxurious and comfortable, but just an fyi, it is a tight squeeze between the bed and dresser which is angled in the corner. I am a small person and I had to walk very carefully around the bed as I hit my leg once. This condo is right across from the side door that people use to enter/exit so expect some noise in the morning as people are leaving. I'm an early riser so it didn't bother me.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in unit 103. It was tastefully decorated and very clean. It felt modern and updated. The king size bed in the bedroom was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and updated, and the kitchenet looked new and had the necessary items. However, there are two things to note: 1) the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. It was uneven, and it titled upwards such that you felt your legs were higher than your head level. It needs to be replaced in my opinion. 2) Right outside the bedroom window is the inner hallway of the building. All the units are like that. We were woken up a couple of times each night with loud people talking and walking in the hallway. One of the exits to the parking lot is right across from the bedroom window, so a bunch of ladies decided to stand around at 2am talking and laughing and having a good time, completely unaware that they woke my husband and I from deep sleep. This needs to change. There has to be curfew hours or big signs to indicate quiet times.
