The bathroom needs a ventilation system. Family members slipped when going in the bathroom twice. Our items placed in the bathroom were damp. The wallpapers is peeling off in several places due to moisture. This will eventually lead to mold!

I usually love going to Springhill Suites but this one took it over the top. The rooms were extremely clean, staff was polite, breakfast was better than most. We had the convenience of being across the street from Carowinds and that was even better. I would definitely book again.

I liked everything about the facility, except one thing. There was a front desk worker Tuesday morning who was anything but friendly and hospitable. She also worked Monday evening; same demeanor. I did not catch her name; black, middle-aged female, very short hair cut. My husband made the reservation the week prior and asked specifically re: Carowinds ticket availability. When I asked re: Carolina Harbor tickets she said I had to get them at the park. When I asked if we could get some towels to take over she said no. I asked if the park had towels. She said yes. In the past, water parks we had visited did not offer towels, but of course, you can purchase towels at gift shops. I really wasn't interested in purchasing thin, over-priced towels which would just add to my packing. And then when we get to the park, I see this to be the case. Every interaction I had with this person, was very impersonal. My very presence seem to be bothering her, and I was the only person at the desk. I don't know how long she has been in this occupation, but she certainly doesn't seem to like her job, and is not a good front to represent any brand. Even my 9-year old granddaughter called her a "Karen." All of the other staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was very nice.
