The Natchez has privacy, comfort, and wonderful accommodations with a lovely front porch with rockers. This is a cozy log cabin with a Pennsylvania fieldstone wood burning fireplace. It has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and one and one half baths. It has 2 televisions, DVD player, DirectTv satellite, and WIFI (wireless) internet. A cute dining area with access to the living room and a fully equipped kitchen. It also has a full laundry area. The cabin has keyless entry. All access information will be communicated on the day of arrival.

Great cabin used as a jump off location to go hiking in Shenandoah National Park. Perfectly located between the park & the city of Charlottesville. Cabin had everything one could need. Fully stocked with coffee, cooking & cleaning supplies, plenty of towels & linens. Locally there are a plethora of grocery stores for any other needed supplies. Owners were very hands off and are closely located in case any issue arises. Area is incredibly quiet and serene. AC is top notch too. 5 out of 5 stars

A getaway in the Shenandoah
It is perfectly located for hiking in the Shenandoah ( Old Rag, White Canyon, Brown Mountain, and Bearfence Trails. Also, Charlottesville for urban pleasures as well as both Montpelier (Madison’s home and grounds) and Barboursville Winery (note: this a Euro class winery not a sweet wine winery as experienced in PA, NY, or MD). Ken was most kind in words and help.

Cute Cabin!
This Vrbo was a perfect stay for our family while visiting Virginia. The cabin is about 2 miles from ruckersville but is in a perfectly quiet area. Our only critic was in order to get to the second bedroom you have to walk through the bathroom with the shower. This was not a large hindrance for our family. Very pleasant owners. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a cozy getaway weekend at the Natchez. The hosts were accommodating, the home was clean and tidy. We loved the wood burning fireplace! Nice place to come “home” to after a day at the winery. We loved the home but prefer a more secluded location. We recommend this space but please note it is literally in the middle of a neighborhood so if you are looking for remote; it is probably not what you are looking for. If you love being in chatting distance with neighbors; this is for you! Thank you, Natchez, for your simplistic slow down!

Pictures did it no justice . Wonderful stay and wonderful cabin. We had such a lovely Thanksgiving. So close to Skyline Drive too. Cabin was clean, well stocked, everything we needed was there. The pond was such a peaceful bonus. Highly recommended for a quirt retreat...even with kids we still found it peaceful! Kids loved it there.

Better than expected!
This cabin was beyond perfect. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals and this by far, had the most extras and thoughtfulness put into it. There was wine, snacks, and every extra you could think of from travel toiletries to paper goods to coffee to laundry detergent and storage containers for use while there. You really didn't need anything other than your clothes! The location was perfect for us to visit the National Park as well as Monticello and Montpelier. Ruckersville is a wonderful town and this cabin is close to town while still feeling secluded. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The owners were quick to answer any questions. I promise you will not regret staying here!

So cozy
Ken and Debra have created such a cozy space for guests. The hospitality they provide is above and beyond what one would expect from a rental. Ken called before check in to let us know how to get in, after check in to make sure we had everything we needed, and the morning of check out to make sure we were happy with our stay. I'm sure if we needed anything he would have been there in a flash! We didn't need anything because they have fully outfitted the cabin to be a home away from home. Really just an all around lovely experience/stay! Would definitely return if we visit the area again someday.

The Natchez was perfect for our long weekend of exploring Shenandoah National Park. Ken and Debra thought of everything - plenty of coffee, snacks, cooking seasonings, pots, pans, and utensils. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out back at night gazing at the stars and spending our mornings sipping coffee in the rocking chairs. 30 minutes to the Swift Run Gap Entrance, 5 minutes to Octonia Brewing, Walmart, Blue Ridge Cafe, and Jacks Shop Diner. 60 minutes to the amazing Luray Caverns. Highly recommend!
