"We had arrived in Paris after a 10-hour transatlantic flight, taken the TGV to Lyon, and driven our rental car to St. Albans. We planned to stay two nights to recuperate from jet lag. St. Albans is filled with narrow streets that seem to have more traffic than you would expect in a small town. "We had an amazing 2 nights stay in this property. Sebastien was such a great and accommodating host. He greeted us on arrival to give us a tour the home and met us at the house during our check out. We even got to meet his adorable dog during our check out. He was also very easy to contact if we had any questions. The house is gorgeous inside and outside. The dining and living rooms were very large and accommodated 10 people easily. The garden area is huge with lots of outdoor seating and dining...

"The unit was all we expected. It was quiet and away from the big city. The town of Crimeau is a medieval town with lots of history and great places to see in the area. The unit itself is a rustic but modern unit and met all our needs. We did encounter that the owners do not supply towels which was a first for us but after we took a closer look at the listing they were not included. No big deal because we had backup plans. Demers was a good host and kept us up to date on goings on in the area....

"Originally only booked for 1 month as we were relocating to France, however due to the Covid-19 outbreak ended up staying for 3 months, and could not have been in a better place. The accommodation, area and neighbours were great would highly recommend this as a place to stay and not to far from Lyon center."

"During the heat of our 4 weeks in France, it was very pleasant to take a 8km twisting road into the cool uplands and enjoy the garden and surrounding farms of this house. Our group, fit walkers al over 70, did find it difficult to easily get into the back garden over the craggy steps without a railing. Since we had all all our meals there and spent so much time there, we often were concerned one of us would fall or break a leg.. this is a danger to anyone and should be corrected. Otherwise, both...
