"Some reviews say that the rooms are small and too warm in early autumn. This was not our experience. The room we took was massive - so too the bathroom. The hotel was exceptionally located and easy (very inexpensive) to park. A fantastic experience in a lively area of La Rochelle"

"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

"The parking was safe. We had to change rooms due to there being bodily hair and dirt on the shower which had clearly not been cleaned. Very disappointing. The bathroom also smelled of urine."
