"Our second time here and just as good as first. Clean comfortable (another couple of pillows would be great). Hot showers. Easy walk to town centre. Easy parking across road (you need to pay). "The hotel is very tired in need of some renovation particularly on the outside which is very shabby and does not create a good first impression. There were dropped packets of tea around near our room. Also disappointed the restaurant was closed as we had intended to eat there. Surely we could have been forewarned. "

"The couple who run the hotel were very pleasant and tried to be helpful but a great shame we couldn't access the internet anywhere in the hotel, or indeed in a brasserie on the town square. Room was an odd shape and rather cramped. Bathroom needed some refurbishment. Quiet and okay for an overnight stop. Avoid the restaurant which was very reasonable but produced 2 meals which had dried out meat and inedible mushy vegetables."

"Very nice property very convenient to the ViaRhona bike path with secure bicycle storage. The room was comfortable and clean. We were able to easily walk to a grocery and wine tasting. We visited Ampuis on a Sunday when there were few restaurants open in the community, but very much enjoyed the prepared meal (cold salads, charcuterie and wine!) the hotel was able to provide for us. The breakfast was great as well. Definitely recommend for bike travelers!"
