"Nous avons été déçus en arrivant d'apprendre l'absence de piscine alors que nous l'avions promis à notre petit garçon. Cela nous a obligé à chercher une autre solution pour passer les après-midi (à 20 km de là). Par ailleurs, le samedi, à 14 heures, heure de la sieste, 2 agents d'entretien ont soufflé les feuilles juste devant notre hébergement avec des souffleuses extremement bruyantes et pendant un bon moment. " Monique is a superb host and very helpful. The property has everything you could need in a small apartment. Everything was clean. The addition of an outside sitting area, free WiFi and parking made our stay special. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day - also included. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped - enough cooking and baking equipment do make almost anything. Exceptional value for money and very comfortable space. We will no doubt be back in future. "

"A very stylish and modern hotel positioned in the centre of town. Don’t pay extra for parking at the rear as there’s plenty of spaces in the market place outside the hotel. All rooms have air con which was welcome with temperatures at 32c. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it seemed very popular with local people. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate."

"We had a wonderful weekend staying here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Lovely added touch to.gave breakfast delivered in a basket . Ideal for visting Gouffre de Padirac. Would have been nice to gave had coffee maki g facilities. Lovely to be surrounded by nature. "

"A peaceful location for a stunning property in the beautiful Corrèze high above historic Beaulieu & Argentat. The house itself is charming and maintained to a very high standard of fixtures, fittings and decoration. A pleasure to behold. But more than that! Bruno & Thierry, the hosts understand customer service and customer satisfaction to an extent that makes a stay at Domain du Vidal a rewarding and exceptional experience. "We never found the place and called to find out that the booking was never processed. The way up was v v dangerous on a narrow road in the mountains. It was a v v deserted place and I was questioning security. Am sort of glad we were moved to another place which was not that great either but we spent the night. "

"The restaurant is Amazing and the staff are fabulous. Our room was quite run down though. The mattress had a huge dip in the middle of it. So uncomfortable. We had no hot water the day we checked I. Otherwise it was a lovely stay "

"Really good despite the weather. No evening meal but lots of restaurants close by. Night entrance meant that you could enter hotel as late as you wanted. Beautiful village. Lots of places to visit nearby, staff really friendly and helpful. Lots of car parking, either right outside the hotel or in the square. We used the hotel as a base to go sightseeing and as such it suited us fine. Highly recommended. "

"Amazing view from the balcony, with so many species of birds! The owner is very friendly and helpful and the check in process very easy. The property is spacious but is let down by the inadequate shower which dribbles pathetically in a corner whilst you fight with the curtain and the rear covered area which leaked so you couldn't enjoy the outside picnic bench when it rained. The local village has two supermarkets, cafes and restaurants."

"The house is truly beautiful, very clean and the kitchen and bbq are kitted very well. It has got everything we needed including games for the garden. The garden is very tidy and perfect for enjoying the sunshine and the pool is always clean. The host is a lovely, accommodating and helpful man. We’ve been very well looked after.
