"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"We had a great relaxing break at Emma’s cottage. The location is good with plenty of options for restaurants and places to visit. The pool is a real bonus and Emma is a fantastic host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. We will definitely be coming back at some point in the future as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended place to stay"

"Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"

Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. "Fantastic property. Well equipped with beautiful pool and spotlessly clean. Host superb in communication. One if the best properties we have stayed in. A little off the beaten track for amenities but no problem as supermarket about 10 mins away. However if you want a relaxing, calm holiday this is definitely the place to go."

"I never got to meet Sylvie and partner they were away on business, however Nicole kindly came to my rescue when i became lost. She came to my location in her car and I followed her to the property. The neighbours were very kind and supplied me with water, eggs, tomatoes and beer. The property was great. Very clean. Everything is there for you. I can recommend it for a great stay."
