"From reserving this beautiful home online to check in to our stay this was perfect in every way! The owners are very kind, they live a home away but are not intrusive in any way. We were outside one morning, and they happened to drive by and apologized! We wanted to invite them over to hang out with us they are just that kind! When you pull in you will hear the waterfall but once you step inside it will literally take your breath away. Like the description says you can see the waterfall from every room! It is so peaceful. There is so much to do in the area, we did quite a bit of hiking and also antiquing in Fort Payne. There is a gas grill at the house, we cooked almost every meal there but did have appetizers at the Old Mill Antique Mall restaurant in Fort Payne. We also had a fabulous lunch at the Wildflower Cafe in Mentone. We agree with all the other reviews; we will be back. This is a great halfway mark for us to meet our family from Indiana. "We loved our weekend stay and truly needed to “Get Away From It All.” Everything about the cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed to cook all of our meals with the exception of our outing to Wildflower Cafe and Desoto Park. We loved walking down to the river behind property and sitting on rocks, listening to the water. We spent nights at fire pit and playing cards, watching movies inside in front of fireplace. The hot tub was the family favorite and enjoyed all day at various times! The hosts were accommodating and we were thankful for our early check in and also lucked up and got a later check out. We will definitely be back! We try to make a yearly trip to Mentone! "

"We absolutely loved everything about this property! Beautiful home! Decorated perfectly and soooo cozy! t was too cold to enjoy the great screened in porch and it is large! Our hostess thought of everything! Soaps, shampoo, coffee set ups. It was so close to shops, restaurants and Desoto Falls. My only regret was the weather forecast. We left a day early in case it iced over. Can not say enough good things! We will be back as soon as we can! Thank you Amy!"
