The primary basis for my stay was the location not being to far to get to work. Positives 1. Close to work. 2. Good breakfast. 3. 24 hour gym. 4. Comfortable bed. Negatives 1. The free weight area has been neglected and is rusted up for nearly every machine. The 40KG weights are dangerous because they are not stuck onto the handle properly which I learnt when trying to bench press them.The temperature in the gym is set far to low to the point it's freezing and there seems to be no option to change as all options are locked on the digit thermostat. 2.The bathroom in my room had long hairs sitting within it, indicating that it hadn't been cleaned. 3. There was a ceiling spot light that was hanging by it's wire outside of its frame. I raised this issue being a potential electrical safety issue and the staff offered me a different room so I couldn't fault them on that. 4. The TV had the option to connect a HDMI cable and chromecast but none of them worked. 5. Whenever a problem was raised with the staff, they would respond by saying that maintenance will look into it, but nothing would ever get resolved.

Ideal for exploring the local area.
The room was clean and spacious, we were spoilt by having our bed made every day and tea, coffee and water being replaced. Unfortunately the restaurant let the hotel down, it felt like there was not enough staff on, every morning we came down for breakfast there was lots of tables waiting to be cleared away plus lack of glasses, mugs and plates which we had to ask staff for more of. Staff were very polite and pleasant, enjoyed the pool facilities, lots of places to visit in and around the area.

Enjoyed our stay at this 4 star hotel. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by Aimee at reception who went above and beyond during our stay. The rooms are a really good size, plenty of room, comfortable beds and all the expected amenities of a 4 star hotel, including fridge. Large TV, good wifi and complimentary water. Good sized bathroom with shower over the bath. Free parking provided. Free use gym which was excellent. Yes as mentioned by others, some areas, especially around the lift, need a bit of refurbishment but otherwise an excellent hotel. Highly recommend.
