Cozy Cottage
We really enjoyed the river access and hot tub. The size of the cottage was very comfortable for our family. The road noise was loud at times but unavoidable due to the location.

Beautiful area
The yard was very well maintained, beautiful views, quiet neighborhood. Was not in a secluded area but rarely saw neighbors. The road on the other side of the river was busy and loud with quite a bit of traffic. House could use a good deep cleaning. The back deck needs some desperate attention due to rotting and loose boards and nails sticking up. The hot tub didn’t have any steps so some people in our party couldn’t even get in.

Great out of the way riverfront cabin
We really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to bring what you need, because the closest store is in Silva. The information about GPS not being correct was not true. The grill needs new burners, but cooked brats just fine. There are loose deck boards and the steps to the hot tub need repairs. The hot tub was awesome! The place was very clean! Bring ice, too! The Wi-Fi information sent to use was not correct. The correct information was found in the house.

Outdated property on segment of river
The property was ok overall. The house is outdated with old furniture and appliances. If you are looking for a rustic place to stay then it works just fine. Shower water smells bad. If you want something nice then look elsewhere.

Ok but won’t go again
Had a good time just getting away with the family for a few days in the middle of nowhere. Liked the atmosphere and location to the river but description did not include the highway being right there. The hot tub would not heat and after 2 days and 5 phone conversations with property management we were told no one would be coming to fix it. When booking places to stay, amenities are on the list of reasons I pick a place. Things happen but, clear communication from the beginning would have made expectations more reasonable. I will not book a property with this management company again. Also, the neighbors, who are not extremely close, are quick to make a noise complaint. We made a fire one night down by the river in the fire pit on the property with our kids. We were back up in the cabin by 8:15 and in bed by 10, woke the next morning to a notice of a noise complaint. I understand being respectful of neighbors and I feel we definitely were. The neighbors don’t seem to like having a rental property there and complain very easily. Nice area and we will be back but not to this specific house

Nice weekend getaway
Enjoyed the house. Zero cell service but WiFi was good, cute house. Unfortunately, did not have time to use the hot tub, but we did check it out and it was clean and warm. My only issue was the well water. It is stinky, but common for that area. Just take bottled water.

Cozy, But That Water!
While the photos online made the cabin and furnishings appear newer, the cabin was cozy, well-stocked, comfortable and well-furnished. Our only serious complaint, and the reason we would not return, is the water. The water had such a high iron content that I could not even stand to brush my teeth with it. After washing my hands or showering, I smelled like rusty metal the rest of the day. If there was something that could be done to improve the water quality, the cabin would be a sweet retreat.

Will return assuming the Hot Tub is working
Positive: Great location being on river. Plenty of room, Internet worked great, and by connecting phones everyone kept service. Negative: Hot Tub didn't work. Table on deck by the grill was setup broken(we sat our steaks on grill to cook, and table collapsed soon as we pulled out the chair to sit down...chair was holding the leg in place). Being so close to river the water was brown, which we still used the showers, just used bottle water to brush teeth and drink. Didn't use the washing machine provided. Would be 5 star if hot tub would have worked, and we didn't loose our dinner result of table on deck.

Cute cabin on banks of The Tuck
Husband, friends and I spent few days at this cute little cabin right on the Tuck. We loved the location although the highway directly across was quite busy due to construction. That’s temporary though. We had a little issue with check in but luckily housekeeper was in the area and knew the code to enter. We never received the final check in info. Could have been an issue with spotty WiFi in the area? The house was clean but could use a deep cleaning & kitchen cabinets were very unorganized. Possibly last renters just put things up Willy Nilly? Those are the only two reasons I didn’t give the place 5 stars. We didn’t use the hot tub and I recommend the dock gets some maintenance. It just wasn’t that inviting. The River was beautiful and husband had fun in his kayak. A four star review only because of the minor things I mentioned but would definitely stay there again. Easy access, plenty of room, cozy well appointed cabin. Thanks for sharing.

Not well maintained
On arrival, the bush at the main porch entrance that you have to go though is overgrown. I had to dodge around it to get up the stairs. Property management sent an email or text (I can’t remember) with Wi-Fi instructions and they weren’t right. There was a different router and password for this property on a piece of paper tucked away on the kitchen counter. Hot tub had dirt in it. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The water was yellow and smelled bad. All the closest are full of stuff so you can’t really use them if you want. The drawers in the bedrooms have trash in them. There’s trash under the refrigerator, under the night stands etc. The night stands had a coat of dust on them. The property sent an auto generated message asking about cleanliness and when I responded to it, it came back as undeliverable. The house is either on well water or had a really bad hard water problem and it shows everywhere with real bed yellow staining. The property location is nice. The dock/porch on the river are nice to sit on, just know there is a road just on the other side of the river that is heavily trafficked. I can confidently say I wouldn’t recommend this property and I won’t be returning to it.
