Nice place
Nice place loved the area could definitely use some updating to the cabin didn't notice it anywhere in the description but there was only 1 TV its in the living room, really would be nice to have a extra one maybe in the kids bedrooms at least for nightime so just a heads up on that and the outdoor waterfall deffinity could use some attention. But definitely overall a very cool place and worth checking out loved the trails that come with it views are great and definitely secluded would definitely stay again !

Quiet Stay in Bryson City
We enjoyed our stay at this property. There were two adult couples and two dogs. The huge, partially covered back patio was our favorite place to be: enjoyed watching both the rain and the sunshine equally. It is surrounded by railing with a gate on each end, perfect for allowing the dogs to enjoy the stay with us. Clean and easy to find things. The provided outdoor grill looked new. It is a short, twisty ride to get to downtown Bryson City, doable even with heavy street motorcycles: there is only a short stretch of gravel. You do not need four wheel drive to get there. We had a temporary problem with the door lock later in our visit that was resolved via communications with the owner. We didn't need internet access, but measured sustained download speeds averaging 2.5mbps. For example, the provided smart TV could render streaming video, there were pauses at times, overall ok. Cell reception was reasonable: 2 bars (average -106db signal if you understand radio frequency engineering) Room for improvement: The property sits atop a ridge line and uses a water pump - it is noticeable when running water or taking a shower. We had some periodic issues getting a steady stream of hot water for the shower. It is best to make sure no one else uses the water while you are trying to shower. The overhead fans in the bedrooms produce an annoying electronic noise. We would happily stay here again. Owners were great, good communication.

Fun place to enjoy family & pets.
Ken’s Secluded Cabin was cozy, comfortable & well decorated. The owners were responsive to our needs whenever issues arose. The area is private & it’s a great place for bringing your dog(s). The outdoor patio is spacious with a pretty view of the mountains. The couch & beds are very comfortable & the place inside was very clean. I would stay here again but probably not at the same price per night. I did really appreciate bringing my dogs & that is a huge plus. The neighbors are very nice & there are many friendly dogs that visit! I mean what an awesome experience to have friendly dogs come by & visit! We loved that! It is closer to everything even though at first the curvy mountain seems to be further but after a trip or two it’s a breeze. The only issue with the price is that I expected the outside to look better as it does in the pictures. This is because it needs some outdoor TLC. VRBO should be updated with new pictures of the outside. The kitchen pots & pans need replaced & the outdoor grill worked but had a lot of build up underneath & the grill door needs repaired. Also, the water pressure is not great here. It wasn’t a huge problem though because that’s the nature of being in the mountains. I think if the owners were to give the outside more TLC, this place would be one of my favorite locations in the area. I believe they plan to do so soon & if that happens, we will definitely be back again! Overall, this was a fun place for family including dogs! :)

Home away from home
My husband and I invited our children and their spouses to join us on a much needed vacation. We loved the cabin as soon as we drove up. It was beautiful inside and out. I think it was one of the cleanest vacation home we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed the view from the porch, the drive up the mountain was beautiful, the silence was peaceful. We enjoyed it so much we didn’t go sightseeing but two days, we had true family time playing games, watching movies, drinking coffee, relaxing and enjoying each others company. If I ever have a chance to visit again my home away from home is where I will be. Gloria M

So far the best place I've stayed
I've stayed at a lot of Vrbo places, and they were all great. But the host to this place made this the best stay I've ever had. They respond quickly to my email. When at the cabin, we found everything we needed and more. The place is extremely cozy, with a great view of the mountains. The view had the sun rise, which we would spend every morning out on the amazing patio, watching the sun rising, and the smoke in the mountains. We were also visited by a friend big white dog, she was the sweeties thing, and great company. Thank you for the comfortable stay and letting us make awesome memories in you cabin!

Fantastic Family Cabin
Kens cabin is a fantastic family cabin just a short 5 minute drive from Bryson City, close to Great Smokey National Park, and and hour from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cabin was so comfortable inside with all you need to stay a week or more. Everything was very cozy. The owners are very nice and provided firewood and smores for our outdoor fires each night! The bedrooms come with plenty of room for everyone. We watched the sunrise and sunset from the beautiful porch, and soaked in the hottub under the stars with the smokies in the background. We spent alot of time under the porch cover areas that have beautiful hardwoods growing through the floors where you can relax even if it rains. From the cabin you are 5 minutes down the mountain to a grocery store, and the Great Smokey Mtn train passes through the mtns just below the cabin. The cabin is centrally located near everything the mtns have to offer like White Water rafting in the Nantahala, Deep Creek Tubing, and trout fishing everywhere. The rafting and tubing were so fun and so beautiful to enjoy. We also took a day trip to Dollywood which was a must visit! We cannot say enough about the comfort of the cabin! It’s all one level with plenty of room and comforts! The cabin is also very secluded which was so appreciated! Our family loved staying in this comfortable cabin and it felt like home! So many things to do and see close by! We will definitely come back soon!

Christmas was memorable
This was a great place for our family Christmas get together. Our kids loved the hot tub and lounging in the hammock. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed for cooking and baking. The property owner was very quick to respond to questions as well. Gorgeous views all the way around and our pups loved being in a secluded location so they could run freely around the property. The only minor gripe is the WiFi is pretty slow so trying to relax in the evening with a movie was difficult to stream. There is a dvd and vhs player if you bring your own flicks. There are a few movies in the home as well. Most of our time was spent enjoying the outdoors or playing board games with family. Great place, would book again.

Home At Last!
This amazing property wraps you up in mountain comfort as soon as you walk in the door. The little extra’s added here simply make this property perfect. Comfortable beds, Towels, linens, Kitchen appliances as well as all the necessities one would look for when home. We have never stayed in a cabin so fully equipped! The Breathtaking views are even more beautiful while sitting in the hot tub ❤️. After hiking most days it was heaven to come home and grill out on the patio, sometimes using the hot tub and one night enjoying the firepit. with the welcoming Smore Kit that we found on the table when we fire-pit The last two nights were rainy & chilly …. of which the fireplace was a very welcomed comfort. We have rented many homes in the mountains and Kens Cabin is by far the best! We will be back! Thank you!!

Awesome Cabin!
We just came back from staying in this cabin for 5 days and we really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for the stay with a great mountain view from the balcony. The cabin is close to the Smoky Mountains and it was nice to come back to the cabin and relax at the end of the day. We really enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, having dinner with a mountain view, and watching the hummingbirds. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cabin!
