Welcome to our lovely 3 bed end terraced home in popular Handbridge, a short walk from Chester city centre & conveniently located for Chester Zoo, The Roman Walls and Cheshire Oaks shopping outlet. Our pet friendly home has 3 bedrooms - 1 super-king size, 1 king-size and 1 bunk bed and sleeps 6 guests. It also has a cosy living room, great dining space, modern kitchen and full bathroom and a rear courtyard, making it the perfect location for your Chester stay, so book today not to miss out.

Welcome to your perfect home away from home in Chester! This great property is located in popular Handbridge, just a short walk across the iconic bridge to the city centre.

A large dining room with plenty of seating greets you as you enter the property. and to the front is a cosy living area with seating and a smart TV.
The newly fitted kitchen has all modern amenities as well as a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a lovely enclosed outside yard with seating and chimenea for you to use.

As you head upstairs to the front you will find the master bedroom which boasts a super king size bed, storage and a smart TV. A large second bedroom to the rear sleeps 2 and has a king bed and vanity unit. The third smaller bedroom has bunk beds so also sleeps 2. There is also large family bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Whether you're planning a family gathering or a getaway break with friends, this property is the ideal choice for you. Located in a great part of the city this property provides you with the perfect base for all Chester has to offer.

Guests will have access to the entire property.

Between each booking, this home is professionally cleaned to the enhanced standards and the linen (sheets and towels etc) is professionally laundered.

We have travel cots and high-chairs available (free of charge but subject to availability). No linen is provided for the travel cot. They are not kept on site, so please advise us in advance if you need these for your visit so that we can endeavour to ensure they are provided in time for your arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute requests for these items.

Please note that the property has a Smart TV with app access. You will need to use your own logins and the TV does not have live TV. However, you can watch live tv through both the BBC and the ITV app for example.

Usual check-in time is strictly from 4pm and check-out time is by 10am. We're willing to be flexible with this by arrangement but this is dependent on other bookings, so please let us have any requests in advance of your stay.

I can't be around myself, so I have a husband and wife team, Tom and Rachael who manage things locally.

A pretty 15 minute walk in Chester Town Centre, Handbridge is an extremely popular Chester Suburb. From quirky gastropubs to local delis, every taste can be catered for in Handbridge, surrounding the perimeter of the historic Roman walls. The Ship Inn is a go-to destination in Handbridge, overlooking the River Dee, you can make your way through the diverse food and drinks menu in an idyllic setting.

If you prefer a more traditional pub setting, check out The Grosvenor Arms. Boasting a friendly and relaxed ambience, you can enjoy delicious traditional home cooked classics and the pub’s satisfying cask ales.

There is a convenience store a short walk from the property and just a five minute walk away a good sized Co-op.

In central Chester everything is within walking distance, however Chester has very good bus routes and taxi services if needed.
Rail and road travel is also easily accessible here, with great train services to Liverpool, Manchester & further afield.
If you are bringing your car there is easy access to main motorways and also good routes to North Wales, Liverpool & Manchester.

A dog is welcome at an additional fee of £30 to cover extra cleaning. Please message in advance to advise that you are bringing your dog. If you have a second dog please let us know and this will be considered. Please kindly consider the following rules if bringing your dog;

-Dogs must be well behaved and house trained.
-Dogs must be kept strictly downstairs & off the soft furnishings.
-Any fouling on premises must be cleared up without delay.
-Muddy paws should be cleaned before entering the house.
-Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
We have a zero tolerance policy regarding abuse (verbal or physical) or generally antisocial behaviour by guests to our representatives, staff and our neighbours.
Any violation of the house rules will forfeit the guest the right to leave a public review.
