This hotel is great for access to Chester main areas (5 minute walk) and close to the bus terminus if you want to go to Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks, Liverpool etc. Lovely bar area and restaurant, serving a good breakfast, however day time restaurant and bar menu's could be better. Secure hotel car park opposite the hotel £12.00 per day.Would stay again.

Definitely recommend Nice big room with view over canal. The only thing i would mention is the room was very warm. All staff very attentive. Also had a evening meal at the hotel and that was very good. Cooked breakfast good and there is a great choice for breakfast. Very clean hotel.

Hotel staff are lovely! Rooms are a-bit dated, as a youngish couple we think it could have done with a refurb, more suited for the older generation but it was a nice stay! Breakfast was ok, the swimming area isn’t very big, if there was beds to lay on I would have stayed in the pool area longer and relaxed. Overall good stay.

Staff were very helpful, especially Caroline at reception who was excellent & went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Only let down would be the sausages at breakfast which were inedible as they were so rubbery but other than this I can’t fault them & would definitely stay again.
