Put your feet up in front of the crackling wood burner or curl up with a good book overlooking the garden through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Pop into the nearby town of Bakewell, the home of the traditional Bakewell pudding and wander around the streets lined with independent shops or stop for lunch by the river which runs through. This property really is the ideal place for a fantastic taste of the Peak District and Derbyshire.
