"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"The property was perfect for our short 2-night stay to visit Zoo de Beauval and Chenonceau. The house was clean, well-appointed and comfy with plenty of games for the children. The only things lacking are WiFi and a washing machine but we knew this when we booked. After our days out we relaxed, dined and watched the sunset in the beautiful garden. Communication with Olivier and Emmanuelle was excellent too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily book again if we return to the area."

"Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. "This was a great base for a couple of nights to explore part of the Loire Valley..The little village about 3 km away - Chaumont-Sur-Loire - has several good restaurants, and other shops. The house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, good sized rooms, and well equipped. The only thing lacking during the hot weather was a fan, so we decided to buy one at the supermarket, (which we have now also used at our next accommodation) Lino was very welcoming and we would happily stay again."
