I've stayed at the Red Lion multiple times and they have been under construction for a VERY long time. The updated rooms are very nice if you're lucky enough to get one. The old rooms are musty, dirty and uncomfortable. The booking says it includes free breakfast however that was not available during our stay. The restaurant wasn't even open for breakfast.

This hotel felt very unsafe! The walls were super thin so I could hear the people above and beside me all night. Also was awakened early in the morning by a man cursing at his wife & threatening her life. I would never stay there again!

I had a 3 night, 4 day stay and was only given a breakfast ticket for one day. It was listed as “complimentary” when I booked the room. My bed was made ONE day. The entirety of my stay starting at 8:30 am was drilling in every room around mine (at least that’s how it sounded) and other various sounds. I have a toddler that sleeps until around 9:30 and it was very disruptive and quite a surprise. I’m sure it’ll be nice once the renovations are done, but my experience was not great. I took the stairs, and was led directly onto a construction zone, there was no signage or anything to block off the stairs so that was a surprise.

I had booked a king suite and was given a small junior suite with a full size bed. I requested a room change but was not offered a refund or discount. The hotel was under renovation and dirty. The toilet did not flush properly and the tub drained slowly to the point where we had to stand in water when showering.
