Simple no frills lodging
We were the only occupants for a Fri night. Maybe cos it’s about 10min walk away from the walking street.
Place is around the residential area... quite quiet... you can hear the cricket or cicada croaking when walking along the street at night.
Chiang Khan is only vibrant along the walking street. The rest of the areas close by 8-9pm... so if you are not driving, and maybe just 1-2pax, you might be better off staying along the activity street.
The place is about 15min away from Phu Tok mountain area.
The lodging is simple. BYO toothbrush/comb/toiletries...
Nearest provision store is about 4min walk (close by about 8pm. Convenience store is about 15min walk away (about 5min drive)

Uitstekend verblijf
Noi Soi 5 bleek gesloten en kregen upgrade naar Chiangkhan Mountain River Resort, wat een leuke resort langs de oever van de Mekong net buiten de stad weg van de drukte. Super vriendelijk personeel.

พนักงานบริการดีมาก ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส ต้อนรับอย่างดี ห้องพักสะอาด เตียงนอนดีมากหลับสบายไม่ปวดหลัง ผ้าเช็ดตัวหนาและใหม่สะอาดดีมาก เสียอย่างเดียวน้ำไหลไม่แรงและเครื่องทำน้ำอุ่นไม่ร้อนเท่าไหร่นัก เร่งความร้อนไปจนสุดแล้วก็แค่อุ่นๆเท่านั้น โชคดีที่วันที่เข้าพักอากาศไม่หนาวมาก ไม่อย่างนั้นคงไม่กล้าอาบน้ำแน่นอน ต้องปรับปรุงให้เทียบเท่ากับที่พักอื่นที่ราคาเท่าๆกัน โดยรวมแล้วถือว่าโอเคค่ะ

Nice enough...
Cute, little homestay just a short walk from downtown Chiang Khan. Good sized rooms, comfortable. However, the room we stayed in did not have a chair (for the desk) or a stand for the luggage (had to put on the floor). So these things could be added to make the room nicer.
Also, the bicycles, which are available to use for free, could be in better condition.
