Highly recommend the property. No issues - quality room, everything worked, no smells or odors, safe location, friendly and nice receptionist, good price/value. They have installed security camera system and I asked about a lock-box and they brought one to my room. Overall definitely come again. (In fact, I am coming back again in a week after trekking in the mountains.)
Very clean, easy. Older room but very quaint, large and nice. Well decorated and fully stocked. No skimping on towels or water or anything. Wi-Fi great. Central location near lots of cool cafes and eats places and shops. Unbelievable bargain.
Great hotel and great service, close to everything and quiet.
The negative point would be the door to access to the bathroom / toilets that is not really opaque. So you can more or less see what the other person is doing... A bit too much promiscuity when travelling with a friend ;)
Apart from that, great place to stay.
Nice place, very friendly staff, right in the heart of the old city and very close to many attractions. I will definitely return back to this hotel during my next visit to Chiang Mai.
The property was central and easy access to everything in the Old City. Very clean and staff very respectful. Limited English spoken. Would be nice to have a more comfortable seating outside. Will recommend to friends traveling to Chiang Mai!
Location was great. Can walk to anywhere in Old Town easily but a half block away from the busy street so fairly quiet.
Room could use better lighting and a bright bedside lamp. Also needs some hooks or shelves. There is one shelf but the guest house stores the hair dryer and basket of brochures there. We were on the top floor and it was pretty quiet. I dont know how loud footsteps were below, but since no shoes are allowed inside maybe not too bad. I requested the top floor.
Room looks surface clean but I dropped an earring under the bed and it was very dirty underneath.
Breakfast they automatically make you one fried egg 2 mini sausages that are like hot dogs and 2 toasts. The girl who cooks really doesn't speak any English so there is no choice. We did manage to get her just to make toast for us after the first day and used our own peanut butter for the protein. They also have corn flakes and tiny bananas and juice.
The night guy was very friendly and spoke good English.
Overall a good value for the money and I would stay there again.
Filthy. Very bad smell from all toilets & drains in bathrooms. Old dirty towels with lots of yellow brown stains (cheap to replace surely)? Used cotton buds found - yuk.
