I loved the tranquility of the property the hospitality of all staff was excellent. Nice shops within walking distance and felt very safe at all hours of the day/night. Restaurant on site was also great and convenient with great prices.

A little great hotel in the middle of a jungle. Amazing big rooms, super clean and amazing staff. Less than 5 minutes walking distance from main atractions, shops and supermarkets. Would definitely stay here again!!!

This is a very low key friendly hotel. It is a very small hotel with the basic amenities, but the front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Am, Koy, Jo and Lew are excellent at their jobs, and they made the visit to the Gord very enjoyable.

Staff are patience, polite and very helpful. Breakfast has a few good variety to choose from. The hotel's location is also pretty convenient. After showering, water tend to flow out of the shower area into the other part of the toilet making the floor a bit slippery. Overall experience is good.

Staff are friendly, very accommodating, and exceeded our expectations. Restaurant had great drink and food options at very reasonable prices. Rooms are spacious, clean and had everything we needed. For those who prefer firm beds, this is the hotel for you. Location is great. Walkable to a couple temples, stores, restaurants, and an amazing massage spa called "Good Herb Massage" that is family-run and very clean.

Little gem! Great proximity to markets, food vendors and coffee shops. Very homey. Staff were very kind and responsive to any requests. Breakfast great! Disappointed bikes aren’t free anymore.

A perfect place to stay in Old Town

We loved having Gord Chiang Mai as our home base while exploring the city. The rooms were modern, clean, with a big comfortable bed, and a large bathroom with good water pressure. The complementary breakfast that was included with our room was a great way to start each day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was central and easy to walk to the Old Town temples during the day and the weekend night markets. Bonus there is a sweet and delicious chocolate shop across the street which we made a point to visit each afternoon. We will be back!

We stayed in the connecting room (2 rooms, 2 king beds, 2 bathrooms). Everything was fantastic! Beautiful common areas with multiple koi ponds. Strong air-conditioning, delicious breakfast included, tons of cold water bottles offered to us, very walkable location. Traffic in old-town gets a bit congested during rush hours — try to walk, bike, or ride on a motorbike via Grab, versus taking a car.

Nice hotel

The hotel was lovely - we had a huge room which was comfy and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast options were brilliant and delicious. The only downside for us was that we were recovering from food poisoning so spent a lot of time in our room during the day and there was building work happening next door which was very noisy. However it started at around 8.30am and was done by about 6pm so if you were out all day you wouldn’t notice! Good location with plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops around.

The staff was amazing. Very welcoming and professional. The room we had was perfect for three adults. The surrounding area was walkable to anything that we wanted to do. The only item I would bring up for discussion would be that there was a safe in the room, but it was not attached to anything. So we did not use it.

Quiet getaway in the city

One of the main drawback for this hotel is the location. It is located in a small and quiet valley which is not easy to be found. Walking distance to nearby convenience store is about 10 minutes away, and you have to walk to the main street before you are able to access to any nearby amenities. Have to take cab to the city center to enjoy massage services. Not accessible to any night bazaar by walk, but there is a walkable night street foods area at the main street. Hotel is equipped with wireless internet. Internet speed is great for normal use, and even Spotify and Youtube. Hotel room is quite spacious for two of us. Very nice design with minor greenhouse concept. Overall is quite comfortable to layover for few nights. Toilet is equipped with a hair and body shampoo and some other essential amenities except toothpaste and toothbrush. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast options are very limited and served with only 5 choices. 2 American breakfast set, 1 rice porridge, 1 pancakes set, and 1 salads set. This hotel is they provide complimentary drinks and snacks for your stay. 2 soft drinks and 3 snacks are to be found in your room, and you can have it for free everyday.
