Damaged laptop and sexual harassment
When I first walked into my room, I went to the bathroom and the trash was full with bloody toilet paper and urine in the toilet. The next day, I left my hotel room to walk around. I came back to the hotel at around mid-afternoon to rest. As I was getting ready to go back out to sight-see before flying back home, I saw the hotel hair dryer on my laptop which wasn't there when I left that same morning. I took the hair dryer off my laptop and saw a crack on the top of my laptop. I ran downstairs to find someone and none of the girls working there spoke English. I said very clearly "I have an emergency. I need help". One of the girls called the manager and he arrived around 10 minutes later. He then called the owner and she arrived. The owner said the employee denied doing anything. She took me to the computer store and they could not help me. Later, the manager knocked on my door and asked if he could help with the pain I had in my upper back from the luggage I was carrying. He said that he is a healer and does Thai massage. He wanted to help after the incident earlier. I reluctantly went to the front porch with him. He He used a type of ointment on my neck for the pain. It was just like going to a regular Thai massage place. He proceeded to massage under my shirt and asked if he could do a full body massage in my room and I said "no." I ran up to my room, locked the door, and put all of my luggage in front of it. Staying at this hotel was a nightmare. Stay away!

4 day stay in Chiang Mai
We loved our stay at the Flora House! The hospitality was great, and everything was sparkling clean! beds were comfortable, and it was in a nice, quiet location but only about a 5-minute walk to the night markets. It was a great value all around, and we would recommend staying there while in Chiang Mai!

VERY cute hotel with a great location
We really enjoyed staying here for a night in mid-may. The building and grounds are absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. The room is clean and comfortable. Staff was VERY helpful at both check-in and check-out, arranging a shuttle from the hotel directly to the airport at 5AM. The hotel is quite small, so don't expect any crazy amenities, but anything you could need is absolutely available. The location of the hotel is great right in the heart of the old city, in the vicinity of great restaurants, temples, massage spots, supermarkets, and more. The hotel is also very "Thai," in that you actually need to take your shoes off before even entering the hotel lobby. It just feels so cool and authentic! Don't worry, everything is absolutely spotless. 9.5/10 !

Nice hotel with awesome staff
The daytime reception staff is truly great, always friendly and super helpful, from taking your luggage to the room to assisting with a lost item. Thank you! Bathroom had an ant issue and could have been a bit cleaner, everything else was good. Great location, within the old town, walking distance to main wats and markets (maybe spend some bahts on a tuk-tuk on your return).

Wonderful stay!
Beautiful garden and great location inside the city wall, especially for going to the surrounding famous old temple and Feb Chiang Mai Flower fair ;), near to every where but without the crowd.

Staff, hotel were great. Like family.
Cleanest place so far. We're touring SE Asia. Staff very helpful and friendly. They don't serve breakfast, but the little restaurant right next door does "coffee lovers". They open at 7am. Only negative, is bad water pressure. But was still adequate. Would give this a 4.8 out of 5.

Lovely, centrally located guesthouse
Friends had stayed here and recommended it. We were graciously welcomed, and wnderfully taken care of by staff, especially May and Sonny. The place is beautiful, clearly well cared for as it immaculate. As one walks to entry, one can't help but notice by sight and smell the profuse plantings of flowers. Scooters and bikes available for rent, and May happy to arrange any excursions. Would stay there again.

Charming location with excellent service
My wife and I stayed at Flora House for two separate nights before and after visiting Elephant Nature Park. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. The property is perfectly located in the southern part of the Old City and is within walking distance to most of what you will want to see. Also, Coffee Lovers is right next door and has delicious food and great service. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be staying here again next time.

Nice little hotel
The room is cozy and clean. Close to Sunday night market only one block away (100 meters). Walk distance to Saturday night market (15 minutes walk). The hotel is located in the old town area, guest can rent a bike to explore the old town eg. morning local market, old charm temples, and local restaurants. Cons: The bed a bit hard. The room is not sound proof, you can hear voice from hallway.

So so
Pros. Cute. Neat and tidy place. Good location. Good for the price. We were very happy with the level of service we got for the staff. They were fantastic. Ine of the staff personally took us on tours and taxied us which was fantastic. Cons. The included breakfast unfortunately was quite poor. We struggled to have a good night sleep as the beds were extremely hard, the air con was really really loud and the hallway echoed as people came up and down the stairs.

More like a guest house than a hotel
The room we were given was quite small, and, although clean, had an open sewer smell coming from the bathroom. No closet, few electrical outlets. Really did not feel like a hotel, but more like staying in someone's spare bedroom. The owner/managers were wonderful, extremely nice and cooperative, but the room was nothing special.

Very nice place
Very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, but still western-style accommodations. There is a nice lawn out front with tables, and an open lobby, which is a good place to read or plan your day. The staff were extremely helpful and gave good advice, I came into town for a short time knowing very little about Chiang Mai and they pointed me in the right direction. I highly recommend it!

Rachamankha Flora House
I just got back from a 16 day stay at this wonderful, small!!,quiet and utterly charming hotel with my girlfriend(Thai) and we both really loved this place. Usually we stay at the Meridien in Chiangmai and the fact that we enjoyed our stay here should tell you something, although it is a clssic case of comparing apples to watermelon. It is a little off the beaten track, but if you call them and let them know when you arrive they will send a taxi to get you from the airport and once there it's easy to tell the tuktuk driver to take you to BG Hotel which is right across the street. We had a room with a king size bed on the third floor with a balcony that was not big but more than spacious enough for two. There were two things that were less than perfect; #1. The stairway is a little steep and narrow but it was only a problem when we first arrived with our bags because I carried them up myself because I was not about to let the 90lb puu-ying that checked us in do it. #2. The lady that cleaned the room would not take the tip I left for her on the nightstand every day. If those things sound like something you could handle then don't think twice about staying there, do it!

We loved it
This is a great little hotel and very reasonable. Nice hosts and good guide, [...] next door. Get the bfst option as it is very good. only problem was finding it since there is another very expensive hotel of the same name and since taxi drivers dont recognize the english spelling of the name. It is on one of the two main east west streets in the old part of town. best bet would be to call hotel or [...] and have him meet you at the airport. just 100-150 baht from airport to hotel. you will love it. Beautiful flowers.
