4/5 - Good
Chiang Rai has a relaxed atmosphere. Shopping is good value and not pressurized. It has wonderful artistic, historical, and cultural attractions. It is also a centre for trekking to see hilltribes.
River views and coffee shops are some things travellers note about Sanuk Residences. Check out Central Chiang Rai or San Khong Noi Road while you're familiarising yourself with the larger area.

Awesome:)
I met a few NGOs and the amount of NGOs that are locally run and who work together to make other people's lives better is incredible to see. The local markets and massage places in town were good to visit/experience also.
