This bright, cozy coach house is your ideal base in Oak Park. It was originally the coachman's quarters behind a 1909 Prairie-style house, now converted into modern guest lodging.

The coach house is above the garage at the end of a long driveway (free parking included!) on a quiet street, in the heart of the Frank Lloyd Wright district. It's a short walk from the FLW home and studio, Ernest Hemingway's birthplace, vibrant downtown Oak Park, and trains to downtown Chicago.

Beautiful studio in the heart of the historic district with a very homey feel. I work in Chicago and this gave me an ability to cook meals and feel more “normal” than in a hotel. Beautiful street, nice neighborhood, comfy bed, great hosts. I would stay there again.

A VRBO property that was private, well stocked, free parking and affordable. The hosts were easy to contact though my stay was problem free. The Oak Park neighborhood is beautiful, historic and a paradise only 9 miles from the Loop and a short train ride into a great American city. And for a fan of architecture and Frank Lloyd Wright this property is a wonderful home base.

Nice quiet romantic location for a getaway in a beautiful, historic neighborhood. Close to some excellent dining and worth just walking around and gawking at the beautiful mansions throughout the area. The architecture is amazing and the hosts were extremelt responsive and excellent to work with. Will definitely stay again.

Comfy Guest Loft on a beautiful estate in the middle of Oak Park. Short walk away from Downtown OP, the 'L' and to many Frank Lloyd Wright properties. The owners were nice and easy to work with. Great place to stay.

Absolutely great value for the rental. Neighborhood is clean, safe, and quiet. Unit was kept fantastically clean, A/C worked amazingly and was by far the most quiet AC I've ever seen. I will do my best to stay here any time I visit in the future!

The pictures of this unique place are great, but far more amazing seeing in person! Absolutely loved staying there! Beautiful historical area with lots to do nearby. Even with so much to do nearby, it was very quiet. The architecture is amazing and the place is just unique, clean, quiet….so many wonderful things! I highly recommend if ever in this area! The hosts are exceptional which added to an already awesome trip!

Perfect getaway!
My husband and I stayed here over a long weekend to help move my son into his Oak Park apartment for the start of med school. It was a PERFECT location, in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Convenient to everything. The hosts were very flexible and responsive. We had a wonderful trip and would definitely stay here again.
