"Lake lure took a big hit to the storm. But this cabin had all we needed to keep us occupied during our stay. Restaurants and some shops are open. Loved how everyone is so open to helping each other. House was so lovely, owner was very accommodating. Anytime I had a question. I texted him personally. He responded very quickly. I highly recommend this house. We will come back."

"I was celebrating my 50th birthday with a group of friends. This house was perfect for all of us. Plenty of space, very comfortable and cozy house with everything you need to have a great stay. The beds were very comfortable as well. It was very easy and cheap to get Ubers to downtown and back. I would absolutely stay at this house again. Everyone agreed it was a place we'd like to come back to every year! Monica was a great host, so friendly and welcoming and very responsive. "

"We booked well in advance due to the stay was on Christmas. Bill was very attentive to responding to any questions I had. There was a huge hurricane that went through Asheville and he was informative about the property’s condition. No damages, just the utilities went out and a few trees. My family had a wonderful stay, it checked all the boxes as far as rooms, space, and nearby attractions like the Biltmore estates. Its truely a unique home!"

"We (a party of 14, ages ranging from 10 to 86 years old) enjoyed our NYE stay on Black Mountain. Place was super clean and so roomy! Kitchens had everything we needed. Kelley was a great host and answered all our questions before and while we were there! My parents are still talking about how perfect the house was! I will say the driveway is very steep. Most of the vehicles were unable to make the climb up the drive. Luckily the road isn't busy so we parked below and walked up. ...

"The property is so nice. It is dated, but comfortable, clean, and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. They even had a couple of small boxes of laundry detergent which was nice. There is a deck that overlooks the golf course to enjoy over morning coffee. The amenities were lovely - putt-putt golf, swimming, and playgrounds for the kids. We loved it! "Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. "I did look at photos of the hotel beforehand so that’s on me, but this one did not live up the standards of my previous experiences with Clarion. The rooms open outside which I don’t typically like, the walls were paper thin - heard EVERYTHING in the next room, there weren’t enough parking spaces and the parking was very tight anyway. I had to park my car at the Texas Roadhouse next door. The employees were all polite and helpful and the room was clean but I will not be staying there again. "
