"The Wildlife Retreat at Taronga is the best ever! We enjoyed zoo access, night time zoo tour, and sanctuary tour (inner courtyard of the hotel is an animal sanctuary with 2 or 3 koalas and a number of wallaby related marsupials, echidnas and birds. Staff at this non-profit wildlife facility are there because they are passionate, which comes across in ALL of their work. Facility is just 5 years old and brilliantly maintained. The room layouts are contemporary - not large, but brilliantly designed. We enjoyed an animal view room (looking into the sanctuary), but others with zoo views were similarly enthused by their accommodations. The lobby/lounge is breathtaking. Our booking included a great breakfast each day, zoo admission, zoo and sanctuary tours. "

"We were looking for an apartment for a 2-week stay, where we could have a decent kitchen to prepare our own food, so as not to have to eat out for a solid 2 weeks. This place was perfect for us. There was even a good supermarket right next door, and a bus stop on the doorstep (with frequent buses into city centre). The kitchen had 2 electric hobs, oven, kettle, microwave, sink, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery, and we could prepare decent home-cooked food. There was also a washing machine in the apartment, and a drying rack, as well as iron and board. Towels, toiletries, washing-up liquid, laundry detergent, tea/coffee, were all provided. The only difference between this apartment and a permanent home was its size - the apartment was the size of a hotel room (complete with the usual hotel room features/furniture, including a safe, and WiFi at no extra cost). There was an underground car park in the basement of the building, but there is an extra charge to use it (we didn't use it this time - we rented a car for a couple of days only for a short trip out of town). We were lucky enough to also have a view out of our window, where the harbour was just in view in the distance. We would definitely be happy to stay here again should we need a short-term temporary home in Sydney in future."

"Simon and Amaya were absolutely wonderful, and made the process so seamless from start to finish! The studio was clean, modern, and had everything I needed. It was also such a short walk to everything I needed (stores, beaches, restaurants, etc.) would highly recommend staying here!"

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The room was fantastic and quiet. The staff could not do enough. Early check in, late check out, let us know immediately that we had forgot our phone chargers. Parking was not a problem, plenty of street parking available and could easily drop off and pick up bags. Would stay again. "
