Island Breeze Cottage is excellent for 2-4 people. The entire cottage was remodeled and has all new interior. It has a full kitchen with new appliances, bathroom has shower, bedroom has queen bed, closet for storage and clothes caddy and linens provided! Dining and living areas are furnished with cushioned rattan furniture that is comfortable and beautiful to enhance your memorable Chincoteague experience. The cottage is cool in the summer months and warm in the winter. A cozy getaway in any season. Bertie street is one street back from main and provides a relaxing, quiet atmosphere for those who want to leave their troubles behind.

The cottage has a 8x16 screened porch in the front for sitting to catch a coastal breeze, enjoy a peek-a-boo view of the Chincoteague channel or just to listen to the wildlife that surrounds the island.

Compact cute cabin
I was meeting my college roommate for a brief getaway. This little cabin (500 sf) was perfect for us. She slept on the fold out couch, while I got the bedroom. Tiny place but we didn't spent a lot of time there. A few suggestions: the sheets for the sleeper couch are too small for the bed. The shower liner should be replaced (moldy at the bottom). The left front stove burner looks like it might be damaged (we didn't use it, just to be safe). I also think the listing should mention that there is no washer/dryer, and no dishwasher. Not at all a dealbreaker, but those things might be important to some renters. Overall, a great experience!

pictures were not the same as property, you made it look updated. the porch furniture needed updated to be able to sit out there to enjoy. We thought we were to see sunsets, not from this property, had to walk down the block and that is all private property.

My family and I come down from Monday - Monday of Labor Day Week. My wife and I always look for a little place to stay on the island from that Friday - Monday for some extra time. This was our first VRBO and we loved it. Will definitely look to book again next year!

The cottage is very cozy and located not far from downtown/harbor and is only short drive to Assateague. Nice area to take walks or just enjoy the quiet on the porch. We had two deer walk through the yard when we were on thr porch.

My daughters and I stayed at Island Breeze Cottage last week for a 'girls weekend' and very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was exactly as described, had everything we needed, and the screened porch was perfect (and necessary). We loved the decor and little kitchenette. Lovely breezes and peaceful nights. We enjoyed our stay in this tiny house! Spent quiet mornings on the screened porch with coffee and a breeze off the channel. It is a tiny space but perfect for our weekend getaway and we appreciated having more space than most island hotel rooms. If you book in July it should be in walking distance of the Fireman’s Carnival.

Great little spot!
We enjoyed our stay at Jesse's place! It was a short walk down to the water, had some good amenities, and when something unforeseen happened he was communicative and prepared for it and helped us out along the way. We didn't try out any of the appliances and I'm not sure this space is going to be comfortable for more than the 2 of us but since it was just 2 of us we enjoyed it very much. Will definitely plan to come back another time!

Lovely little cottage
Tiny, but perfect for 2 people. The screened in porch was a huge bonus, we spent alot of time out there in the comfy hammock chairs without having to worry about bugs. The listing is misleading with the "water view" though. Its close to the water but theres a row of houses between that blocks the view. Overall great stay, easy check-in, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely come back

We loved the cottage. Perfect location to everything on the island. Was within walking distance to the seafood festival and shops. The screened porch was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. We highly recommend staying there. We are considering a summer visit and hope the cottage is available if we do.

Perfect location for going to the town nearby and down to the boat tours or going the other way to lighthouse and nature trails and to see horses! Was just the right size for a couple to stay at night too
