We loved our stay here. You can even drive to assateague in about an hour and see the ponies on the island. It isnt a bad drive. And Chincoteague park is right there. You can walk or bike in easily. It was cold when i was there so we just drove into the park. One thing i knocked off my bucket list of things i want to do

We stay here often. The property is very convenient to the entrance to the Chincoteague Refuge. Many restaurants are close by too. The rooms are large and decorated nicely as well as extremely clean and well-maintained. Check-in is easy and staff is very pleasant.
