"The Hilton Garden hotel was lovely and the staff were amazing. The issue was the location. Bang Tao is less a town than an excellent beach with a large westernised gated community and shopping mall development behind it. A good example of this was our 'deluxe garden room' which had a view of a patch of scorched earth where soon another hotel or condo will be built.
