Great island escape for an unforgettable vacation

Enjoy a memorable Caribbean getaway while staying in this tranquil villa located at the base of Gross Piton, walking distance to Anse L'Ivrogne Beach and 10 minutes drive to Sugar Beach (aka Jalousie). Kaye Coco villa has a spacious living room with French doors, which open to the pool and deck.
While the one bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second queen-size bed is available in the loft. A deck with loungers framing the infinity pool and great views of the Caribbean Sea make this an ideal spot for sunbathing.

Romantic birthday getaway
We loved the location, the restaurants, the stars, the people and the views. Wonderful place to unwind at night after a day of hiking and adventures.

Great location!
This villa has a great location near the Gros Piton trailhead and a few very good restaurants. We took advantage of being able to request a dinner reservation at Tet Rouge right next door, and also enjoyed the new Soley Kouche restaurant within walking distance. The place itself is sparsely furnished but we appreciated the AC in the bedroom on some humid nights, and the small onsite infinity pool.

Comfortable home away from home in an incredible setting!
Clean spacious and bathroom and bedroom were perfect! But the deck was my favourite space! Loved how the doors opened up to living room and kept them open all day long until the creatures arrived at sundown. Beautiful view and pool too! Enjoyed every single moment there!

Beautiful
The property is beautifully maintained and the staff is extremely helpful. Beach is within a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. The Gros Piton Trail is also within walking distance. We rented a car from the host for a few days but I would highly recommend hiring a driver through the host to pick you up from the airport because the roads are quite difficult and recommend asking your driver to take you to the grocery store on the way to your hotel so you don't have to go back out right away. The restaurant and bar at the Tet Rouge is amazing and is just steps away from the villa. Definitely make reservations for dinner here. Enjoy your stay. Everyone is friendly and inviting. You will not be disappointed.

Great place, great value
We were very concerned as it was difficult to find and the drive is in tough shape. A jeep would have been a better option. Once we got there we found a beautiful property with a nice deck and pool. It has a nice view looking southwest and a great view of the Piton looking back northeast. We took advantage of the home cooked creole meal from Antonio. Definitely recommend it if you're not afraid of being a bit off the main highway.

Comfortable accommodations, beautiful view
We loved the place. We enjoyed the local catering services from Anthony and Miss Rice for delicious home cooked meals in the St. Lucian style. Highly recommended. Garvin took great care of us and was very warm. Pool with a view of Gros Piton was a great amenity for our 7 year old daughter.

Great place to stay in southern part of St Lucia
Very nice Villa, clean and comfortable. Afternoon drinks in the pool are a great way to end a nice day. We would recommend staying here if you want to be away from the resorts and experience the local flavors of St. Lucia. Some notes to help (geared towards US travelers): 1 - You really need a car. We had a small 4x4 SUV and it worked out great (you'll get comfortable driving on the left side of the road after the 1st day, but driving at night is a challenge) 2 - There are no nearby restaurants. If you don't want to drive at night, eat a big lunch or buy enough food for dinners in 3 - the kitchen is adequate, but does not have an oven, toaster or any supplies at all. The grill is charcoal. 4 - there is no washer and dryer, but you can have laundry done for a small charge. 5 - Garvin can arrange for very nice dinners but they are not always available. The dinner he arranged for us was amazing! 6 - Vinel can arrange for a local dinner on your arrival night. It's really good and highly recommended. 7 - Bring shampoo and bath soap It helps to bring lots of cash (including some small bills) to St. Lucia. Many times cash is just easier than credit cards.

Spacious and clean - very helpful and friendly staff!
Thank you very much Kaye Coco! The home was spacious and clean, and tidied up once a day. Absolutely worth the price considering some of the alternative resort options on the island. Cannot convey how helpful and friendly the staff was! Garvin was the best !! - He gave us the inside "island scoops" on where to go, etc. One travesty is that the view to the ocean is largely blocked by the hotel in front of the building - just seems so unfortunate given what one could be looking at. Views to the side were just gorgeous. The beach is a good 20/30 minute walk from the house although we rented a car and explored many different beaches. Try not to pay attention to your weather app - sun showers (aka by the locals: liquid sun) occurred almost daily. We really enjoyed the location because it was more remote and quiet, tucked into the local life. THANK YOU!!!

Great views and wonderful staff
The property was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. The views were beautiful and the pool was nice and refreshing. Garvin is a credit to the place and was very warm, friendly and helpful. He went beyond the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable, even going to pick us up food after our long flight! Vinel was also very quick to respond when we needed to contact him. I would recommend this place.

Stunning views of the sea
Lovely property with views of the sea and Piton a d nice deck and small pool. attentive management with good suggestions for water taxi car rental and places to eat . House is well kept with light housekeeping and fresh towels every day. Small pool was perfect at the end of a beach day. And a beach just a half mile away with snorkeling -- though a long walk down and up. Would recommend Martin for car. He brought us all the way to Kate Coco when we arrived in the evening and don't think we would have found it without him. Also recommended Boucon for dinner where we had a perfect meal with the sun setting behind Gros Piton. We took a water taxi to Anse Chasenet which we preferred to sugar beach. only small change I would ask at the house would be a fan for our bedroom. For extra circulation --which Gavin brought us right away when we asked. There are lovely breezes at night but the fan helped a bit Anse 'Iverngne the nearest beach was quiet and peaceful with just us and local fisherman. Also drove to Rudy John beach. Another quiet non-resorty beach. Would definitely come back. Do be prepared for rugged driving.

Best. Trip. Ever.
I can't even begin to describe how much we loved this villa. It's a little off the beaten path, which can be a little intimidating the first time, but now I wouldn't visit St. Lucia any other way. The all-inclusive resorts are nice, but you can be on a resort anywhere...when you are at Kaye Coco, you know you are in St. Lucia. Additionally, Garvin could not have been more helpful. Will definitely visit again!

Great value. Great service. Peaceful envirnoment, allows you to feel the countryside. We stayed half our time there and the other half at the northern part of the island. It was great to explore the attractions around. The pitons, sugar beach and anse mamin were our favorite down there. A car is very helpful, although not an absolute necessity as you can find a driver easily.

Secluded Island Paradise
My wife and I stayed at Kaye Coco for 11 nights on our honeymoon and we had a glorious time. We're somewhat of the adventurous type and, after exploring the whole island and seeing what the resorts were like in the North and South West, we were very happy that we decided to go with Kaye Coco. It has just enough comforts to make it enjoyable but not too many that you feel like you're missing out on the island experience. At first, we were a little concerned about safety given the remoteness of the location and the lack of other tourists around but, after taking with the property manager, Garvin, we felt much more comfortable as he told us about the nearby hotel Tet Rouge and that two police officers live directly adjacent to Kaye Coco. Garvin was definitely an incredible resource while we were there and gave us great tips about people on the island, places to go, how to handle locals and many other great tips. He's the man!

Amazing vacation , a place in Paradise
Our first vacation in St Lucia, I'm sure it's not going to be the last one !! We had a great time at the villa, the view and surroundings were picture like !the south part of the island is the most beautiful, very lush with the two majestic Pitons coming out from the Caribbean Sea. There are so many places to see and enjoy that one week seems to be to short. The apartment was nice and clean, offers everything you need for a great stay. You can relax on the deck or in the pool enjoying the amazing views of the sea and Grand Piton. We want to thank the owners Gabi & Vinel for their hospitality and everything they did for our stay to be one of the best vacation to remember. Me and my wife had an amazing vacation , we would recommend this place to anyone travelling to St Lucia, great value for the money, you will not be disappointed !!! Just pack your stuff and go !

St. Lucia's best kept secret!
This place will not disappoint. Spent 5 days, 4 nights at this beautiful little getaway with an amazing back patio with spectacular views. Can't say anything bad about this rental. Few things to know if you are deciding to stay. Most important thing, rent a car! Preferably a 4 wheel drive due to some of the roads and mountainous terrain. We got by with a 2 wheel drive but it was a tad difficult. Nothing really in walking distance only then a restaurant and grocery store (which doesn't have much at all so don't depend on it). I recommend stopping at the Super-J after you make the left at the roundabout. It will be on the right hand side next to the KFC. It's much nicer than the Super-J the owners recommend further up the road at the plaza. Directions can be difficult getting to the property. If you get lost, call the property manager as they rescued us when trying to find the place. I recommend you have GPS on your phone even if you have to pay extra. It will come in handy, trust me. Garvin down below at the Tet Rouge is wonderful for taking you around the island wherever you want to go. The rainforest is beautiful! I highly recommend Sugar Beach for a day as it is most definitely the prettiest beach St. Lucia has to offer. And it wasn't over crowded. Dinner at the Ladera Resort offers some breathtaking views. Don't pass up this inexpensive rental as you will love just spending evenings on the patio and in the pool!

A place on Earth where reality surpasses any expectations.
This was our family’s first vacation at Kaye Coco and definitely not the last one. The southern part of the island, which is also the most beautiful one, is renowned for its exclusivist resorts, and we would have never imagined it as a vacation gateway, until we found out about this affordable and convenient alternative. Kaye Coco is the perfect place for a family with active kids who enjoy water, sun, hiking and being in the middle of pristine nature. The property is located in the middle of a small village called Choiseul, at about one hour drive from the Hewanorra Airport and half an hour from the nearest city, Soufriere. After arriving at the airport we were picked up by a very welcoming local driver in an air conditioned minivan, booked ahead of time by the property manager. He gave us some interesting information about the island and made our trip enjoyable Once arrived at the villa, we were welcomed by the staff, helped to get settled in a clean, rustic, comfortable apartment equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and worry free stay. In our way there from the airport we stopped for some grocery shopping, since there is no close by grocery store in the village. The views from this location are absolutely stunning. You wake up with the sea at your feet and be accompanied to bed by the majestuous Grand Piton, that watches over you while you dream about spending the rest of your life on this slice of paradise. There are plenty of things to do in the area, so a good planning and helpful information from Vinel and Gabi, the property owners, made a big difference. We rented a 4 well car for 40usd per day, which we shared with another family of friends that came with us. The days when we did not feel like driving we just lingered in the infinity pool with a local beer called, obviously, Piton or a fresh coconut drink. In the mornings we would wake up our senses with a fresh, sweet banana picked directly from a cluster hanged up on our terrace by Sorin, the property manager. For an exotic salad we would drive 15 minutes to Sugar Beach where a local boy would come with a canoe full of harvest. On our last hours spent there we could not be happier with the lasting memories we made, the good energy we brought back with us, and the money we saved for a sea second vacation on the same villa.

Amazing Holiday away from home, with amazing friends!
Amazing Holiday away from home, with amazing friends! We had a lot of fun on our trip, staying in this place. We were two families with kids staying in these two units, a family from Toronto and one from Boston. Layout: It’s two units joined together like a duplex, perfect if you are traveling with another family. Our unit contained a master bedroom with 2 large closets (including a safe box) and ocean view/Grand Piton windows. There is also a large bathroom with a double sink, spacious shower and lots of drawer space under the sink. The living room is open concept and has a sofa-bed, perfect for our daughter who slept downstairs. There are also stairs leading to the top, where there is a second king bed with a double closet. In total, there are 3 large beds in this house. We bought groceries in the town and then cooked most of our meals in the kitchen, which has a big fridge. Sometimes we ordered pizza or ate at the local restaurant. The owner can also arrange to order food for you, and can even arrange for entertainment and music. There is a swimming pool and a deck in the back, with an ocean view. Note that the pool is shared between the two units! This was fine with us since we all traveled there together. The kids loved swimming in the pool while waiting for breakfast. Tip: arrange with the owner/property manager to rent a car though him, that way the car and a driver is waiting for you at the airport and will drive you to your unit. Sugar Beach is only a 5 minute drive from this unit, perfect for snorkeling under crystal clear blue waters. Overall we had an wonderful time and now recommend all of our friends this location, we are already planning our next year’s trip back here! Many thanks for taking care of us for the owners Gabi&Vinel and property manager Diana&Sorin, for excellent advices and entertainment! Love from Canada! P.S. Please contact me for more details plus pictures and enjoy your stay. You'll not be disappointed!

A birthday celebration and a 25 year wedding anniversary get away that turned out to perfect
No prior reviews, therefore were a bit nervous of what we were getting, we were in for an incredible experience. we were treated with champagne when we arrived. If you want a peaceful, quiet, secluded holiday location, away from the All-inclusive hotels then this is the place for you. Villa is in a picturesque, hillside part of the island, views of vast blue Caribbean Sea, the Gross Piton surrounded by beautiful & lush jungle like vegetation.Open concept kitchen living room, one bedroom & loft apartment, great WIFI connection and a safe, a stove top, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, dishes, silverware & cookware, lots of cupboard space, do your groceries shopping when you arrive at the airport. No air conditioning, the design of the rooms allows for a constant cooling breeze, maintaining the right temperature, however there are several ceiling fans for additional air flow. 2 queen size beds with comfy mattresses, double sink washroom with a big & beautiful shower. The deck provides access to a great splash infinity pool with great views to the ocean & to a young, beautiful but well maintained landscape.Watch sail boats head off to St. Vincent, on a clear day you could see the island of St. Vincent.Watch the sky at night, millions of stars, the Milky Way so clear & almost touchable. You are in La Pointe Choiseul community, right in the middle of the "real" St Lucia, so you are in the right place if you like to explore & learn about the places you visit & the local people. The staff at the villa: Merlissa, Garvin, Samantha are amazing & a good source of info. A 15-20 min. walk gets you to a very private beach, away from crowds; drive 10 min to the Jalousie (Sugar)beach, enjoy an amazing, fresh, locally grown fruit salad, prepared & served by one of the locals, hike on Tet Paul, snorkel around the Gross Piton, visit the Botanical Garden & Diamond Waterfalls, Sulphur volcano springs, cocoa and banana plantations, or visit the city of Castries (great souvenirs), the town of Soufriere (grocery shopping, banking, or go to Zaka's Art studio for best coffee). Try pizza from local pizzeria (they deliver), dine at Rosie’s restaurant & Tet Rouge restaurant (both within walking distance), enjoy a Friday night BBQ (chicken & homemade fish cake). Mango Tree Restaurant (good music & great food, 6 sample courses & a bottle of wine $95.00 US). we felt safe & welcoming on the island, for sure we will go back, thinking of investing in a piece of land for a future residence.
