"We had an amazing one night experience staying at Casita del Titicaca. The hospitality was outstanding and we very much enjoyed Edens company. He took us fishing, arranged for logistics to and from Puno and served us excellent meals for dinner, breakfast and lunch, food was both fresh and tasty and we had desserts as well. The bathrooms are as comfortable as can be but we did have hot showers (low water pressure but thats a given). The beds were warm and comfortable and all three of us slept...

"It was a very special and unforgettable experience spending one night at a floating island hotel on Titicaca Lake, though the conditions were not that as good as staying in a "real hotel" in the city and it was freezing at night. "It was my first time to Puna, but I hit the jackpot when I booked the Hotel Balsa Inn. Close to the main plaza and the main thoroughfare with all kinds of shops and restaurants, the hotel is super convenient to all that Puna has to offer. My room was clean and comfortable, and the spacious bathroom was particularly noteworthy (hot showers are sometimes hard to find in Peru!). Everyone at the front desk was incredibly helpful -- food recommendations, arranging tours, facilitating laundry services, etc. The breakfast buffet was a highlight -- lots of freshly-prepared options to start your day on a good note. If I ever return to Puno, I won't need to do a search for accommodations -- the Hotel Balsa Inn will be my first and only reliable choice."
