The resort was ok and the food was generally a half-notch above other all-inclusive resorts. However, there were three areas that were disappointing:
- As noted by others, the resort is older and showing its age. We were told our room was "upgraded" and "renovated" but felt like that it was at least 20 years ago.
-Would highly recommend anyone with dietary restrictions to avoid this hotel. My daughter has anaphylaxis allergies to sesame and peanuts. Despite telling this to the waiters and hostesses every time we received food with sesame on FOUR separate occasions. Clearly there is no communication and coordination in the kitchen.
- The service generally hit and miss and particularly poor around the pools. e.g. a few times we waited 45 minutes after requesting a menu.
