"Hotel lobby certainly gave the wow factor, staff friendly and very easy to approach. Bedroom was comfortable and clean although dated. We happened to stay when storm Bert was at his finest, so poor sleep due to windows rattling and whistling, curtains didnt quite meet either. Had a room with a balcony although could not use due to maintenace. Bath an added plus!! Did not eat, so cannot comment on food choices. Parking bays quite small but had plenty. Only a 10 minute walk to town centre....

"I enjoyed my brief stay at the hotel. The receptionist who greeted me was pleasant and professional. Everywhere was very clean and warm and a swim in the pool was an added bonus.The breakfast, which was good, was served with a great view of the sea. The only thing I did not like were the 'slowed down' Christmas tunes playing in the pool and dining area. It was quite depressing and at times annoying, especially if you dislike the whole build up to Christmas, like me! I would have preferred...

"We are a couple from north Somerset wanting a relaxing weekend and thats what we definitely got! From the day we arrived sat 2nd nov the staff we so helpful on reception and very easy to locate our room . The Spa was fantastic! 5* from all the different spa rooms to our facials on the sunday ,this was also very , very relaxing. "I had to ask for coffee capsules, milk, shampoo and bathmat as forgotten to leave any in room. Only one glass given for water in a double room. Furniture quite battered looking and in need of some TLC. Long mirror on wall, but in the darkest corner of the room where there was no light. Coffee machine's water holder had no lid and a broken base and does not work very well so could do with a replacement. Sink fills up with water with no plug in when washing hands. All in all a lovely spacious room...

I didn't like some noisy guests with no consideration for others e.g. late at night loud talking of adults and children and banging doors.
