"We chose and confirmed a room that specified a view of the harbor. This was not a request; this was the description of the room. When we checked in we were told that a harbor view room was not available.Our room had a view of only the backs of some old buildings.
In addition. there was a large support column in the middle of the room combined with a sloping ceiling that blocked access to the right side of the bed."
"Very friendly host/owner. The place is a family run hotel. The building itself is an old townhouse along the main road near Cherbourg. No elevator available , as usual for this type of building. Great breakfast and very welcoming."

I even messaged asking to reserve a table. However, after a long drive, on arrival we were told it was not open which was very disappointing and annoying. "La chambre est confortable et agréable. Le personnel est bien agréable. Les WC et salle de bain sont exigus et il n'y a pas d'ascenseur : 3 étages avec porte palière et 2 valises, c'est délicat mais pas impossible. Il y a un parking public gratuit juste à côté et la ville est accueillante."
