"We were there for two days, and Ana made us feel at home, being very special to us, cooking spectacular breakfasts all made by her. The location is perfect with easy access and close to all the towns in that area of Tuscany. Without thinking about it we would repeat it."
"Unbelievably beautiful property and surrounding area. Bertina and the rest of the staff were so nice and helpful. Delicous food and just overall a wonderful time. Thanks again!"
"We had a great experience at Palazzo Nobile di San Donato. The location is great, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is lovely! Our room was very comfortable, with original decor exactly as in the picture! I recommend it."
"This property is the hidden gem of the Tuscany region and is a must stay for anyone visiting the area. Our room was large enough for 3 adults (loft area with a single bed) and the view from the suite was spectacular. Breakfast was also fantastic (not included but worth the 10 euro per person). This is a family run small hotel with great staff and service. 5 star review!"
"What an incredible experience! We absolutely adored our stay with Roberto and Vittoria. The hotel is so cosily decorated and Roberto and Vittoria give you true Italian family hospitality - you feel like part of the family and you’re given a great introduction to Montepulciano with a drive around with Roberto when you first arrive. Roberto and Vittoria were also so kind with our 9 month old baby, who utterly adored them. Vittoria’s breakfast cakes are divine too!! "
"Amazing place, will come back. Everything you would want from a visit to Tuscany. Warm people, delicious food and amazing ambiance. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and had excellent hot water. Rooms opened up to private courtyard. Restaurant meals were delicious, service was impressive and food portions were great. Thank you for taking good care of our family of 5."
"In the start there were a few misunderstandings and some confusion. Nothing serious. The owner is very kind and responsive. It's a beautiful property and if I'm in the area, I'll stay here again. If you're in the area for tourism be prepared for some moderate-difficult walking."
"Magnificent Lupaia will forever remain a dream holiday for us in the most beautiful, serene and picturesque location. The scent of jasmine and rose covered cottages surrounded by lush green gardens and idyllic vistas are what dreams are made off. Warm, welcoming staff can’t do enough to make your stay a delight. Many thanks to all at Lupaia. "
"In a heritage house of a medieval like town, facing church bell tower - great ambience! However, both two days we stayed was without food services (restaurant at site opens 5 out of 7 days😂). Room supply such as hot water and coffee etc are missing (the town does not have any shops) so was a bit inconvenience."
"La Chiusa was magnificent. Gorgeously restored historical property nestled in their own olive grove, caring attentive staff, and a young chef creating absolutely delicious new takes on traditional Tuscan classics. We walked around the grounds, did some stargazing, and enjoyed the personal attention and the cooking class. 12/10, 3 thumbs up, 6 stars. Can't recommend it highly enough. We cannot wait to go back."
"Very hospitable and lovely. Beautiful property. Owners are kind and friendly. Breakfast was nice. Wish they offered lunch and dinner. I would stay again."
"We stayed in a spacious room with stunning mountain views. The room was very clean. The staff were so kind and helpful. We traveled with our teenage daughter and we all very much enjoyed our five night stay. Breakfast was great. The town is very charming."
"My husband and i stayed in the Treehouse suite for our 5 year wedding anniversary and it was so special. Our room was nestled among the olive trees with a fireplace, incredible shower and gorgeous views! The breakfast the next morning was delicious and the service was great. The pool area is relaxing and has the most incredible view. Would definitely recommend this for a quiet, intimate stay!"
"This was a charming property and the cellar wine experience was most enjoyable. I would strongly recommend this property. Breakfast was excellent and the 1* Michelin Osmosi restaurant was excellent. Had a wonderful dining experience. Montepulciano is well worth a visit. The wines of Fattoria Sventoni are marvellous. "
"Had a very enjoyable stay at La Rocca. Staff was excellent. Breakfast at the restaurant every morning was very nice. Took a cooking class and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also did a wine tasting and enjoyed it as well. "
"This property was amazing. The staff was so incredibly professional, nice, helpful and friendly. I can’t say enough of how nice they were. The views from this property were amazing rolling Hills of Tuscany and the weather was rainy so I just could imagine how beautiful it would’ve been with the sunshine. There were probably 5060 olive trees on the property. It’s a long driveway very narrow. The hotel is quaint. The breakfast was amazing each morning. Oh my Lord the breakfast was so good. You...

"Staff was very proficient in English for the most part, with excellent communication and professional in service through and through. Restaurant on site was elegant with good variety of menu items, though a little pricey as expected. Quality of food was above average but not excellent as expected. Drive to this monastery was fairly easy with surrounding village somewhat accommodating in amenities and conveniences. Keep in mind you would need a car throughout your stay here. Siena is 10 minutes away by car, a must see for at least one day. "
