"The staff at the Penhelig were great, so friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent, lots of choice and everything we had was delicious. Best omelette for breakfast i have ever had. Can I suggest a mirror over the dressing table, as although a hairdryer is supplied, very difficult to use it with no mirror. Outside of Hotel could do with a lick of paint and a little bit of TLC as the staff and quality of food deserve it. "

"My booking was as perceived from their advert for a caravan with lake and sea views with steps to the upper level /roof terrance. I booked with ebookers ,their adverstising is misleadingly. When i mentioned this at reception I was told it says its for illustration purposes !! Id need to take it up with ebookers. Which i agreed with. Would I book with this company again. Most definately not. Caravan was fine..clean and tidy.Barmouth bay site lovely. No views of the beach or no seating...

"The Tilman is a very smart,contemporary small hotel located in the centre of the lovely town of Barmouth.The bedroom was spacious,scrupulously clean and very nicely designed and in excellent condition. Very good provision was made for drinks including water,fizzy orange and tea and coffee(with real milk). I would have no hesitation in recommending it as a good place to take a break. "

"We had a fantastic 2 night stay with our 1year old twins. The caravan was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. We did have a problem with the oven not working however management soon came to resolve the problem. The site is well looked after and the pool area was amazing. We had such a great stay and hope to return in the future. Would highly recommend!"

"Clean and well fitted out (as described) and in a good location for harbour and beach. Friendly staff. I was initially concerned at a lack of information about where we could park, but once we had got to the place to ask, turns out they have a free parking space nearby for guests and we were not rushed out of it when we checked out so we had an extra couple of hours on the harbour with no parking problem. Great to have good air conditioning - gets hot in the attic room - and controllable blinds...

"This is a lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and appointed. It has a stunning view, telephone wires apart. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived. We had a couple of niggles but they were addressed satisfactorily by the owners. Take their words about the hill to the apartment very seriously. You need to be fit and able to deal with it."

"The apartment was dated but clean, quite cold even with the heaters, the 2nd bedroom heater didn’t work, the fridge wasn’t working and one half of the recliner sofa didn’t recline. Overall a lovely stay and the issues didn’t affect our holiday as we were only there for a few days but when I tried to contact someone regarding the issues I go no response which was disappointing."
