"Location is very good. It's 2 minutes from the train station, yet you don't hear the trains. It's also away from the center of the village, so there aren't many tourists; only those who stay in the same area. The owner responded promptly and was very good. The unit is good, for the most part. It is showing some age, with some updating needed, but nothing bad. The mattress was old, or at least overused and not in a good shape. "All of us thought this property was the worst we stayed at! Not enough towels or kitchen supplies no sheets for the pull out couch. They advertised air conditioning but only gave use a small fan also advertised a second bathroom that was locked the property was not clean and the dishes where dirty. they had an infestation of ants. Look for a different place."

"Margherita's apartment has a beautiful coastal feel, and view off the balcony could not be any better. The apartment is the best equipped of any VRBO we have stayed at in any country. Margherita is a delight and very responsive. Monterosso is the village to stay in Cinque Terre and then visit the other villages from this home base. The restaurants, shops, and more expansive space provides for a less touristy place to stay. We loved every minute! Grazie mille Margherita!!"

"The place was good. It was dirty with spiderwebs and dust in some spots but other than that it was great. It still did have a musky smell like others reviews. The refrigerator was also dirty but we didn’t use it, just something to note. "
