"The apartment was really nice and spacious. I definitely recommend this place. It would be nice to have a drying rack for wet towels, etc. The road to the apartment is dirt, so when it rains the road gets very muddy and can have lots of cars, so is tricky for walking along. "

We love to offroad so the 3 bumpy, curvy miles wasn't a concern for us but make sure you rent a 4x4 with low range and make the drive part of your adventure it's 15 to 20 minutes through the jungle each way. "The villas are fantastic and staff was so nice and offered great service. The view of birds and other wildlife was nice. One of the staff took us where we needed to go a stayed right with us which was great since the villas are rather remote. They store modern with private pools in each. I will definitely go back."

Found Paradise in Costa Rica!

And finally, I felt I should leave a very positive review. Canavida Villas & Resort is the first booking where the everything exceeded the expectations. Top Location, service, communication, quality of stay, THE VIEW, the staff, the people, the pool, THE GRILL, the nature... I don't know where to start or to end. Basically images are in most hotel presentations showing a refined view of reality, in this case the nice photos of the property did not reflect the reality, IT WAS EVEN BETTER IRL! If you want to have a weekend or a week at one of the best locations in CR, then you just found it. Yes, it is on a hill = there is a challenging climb with your car, but you can get there with a 2 wheel drive. Uvita as location is also very nice, but why bother to go there except for grocery shopping, this resort is a paradise you don't want to leave!"

"Loved this place so much we booked to stay longer. Fantastic location just 5 mins walk from the national park beach which is stunning. The grounds of the hotel are lovely with two pools to cool down in after a hot day in the beach. Staff are exceptionally helpful snd kind. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and a Mexican restaurant just along the road. We had the superior double room with a large kitchen and terrace so nice that we went to Maxi Palí supermarket at the end of the road and bought food to cook in the lovely kitchen. Now sitting in a hotel further up the coast and wishing we hadn’t left paradise "
