"The first impression of this hotel was that of simple, understated class. This is a comfortable, elegant, and accommodating place without trying to portray some sort of unrealistic fantasy of grandeur. Service was friendly with a sincere kindness that is often missed in the world of cultivated service-industry niceties. The room was comfortable with a warm ambience - not a hint of sterility.
I will certainly stay here again. The proximity to excellent dining options was an unanticipated bonus. I recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and class without the gaudy forced enthusiasm of other hotels serving the “modern urban”category. "

The kitchen and large dinning table allowed us to cook a few meals “at home” after busy days travelling the city. This location is walkable to Old Montreal, Rue St. Catherine and the metro. We had a great week. We loved the deck upstairs and breakfast was great to start off our day. "
