Perfect Couple's or Solo Getaway: 1840s Log Cabin

The cabin, circa 1840, is located on our 75-acre farm and built of heart pine logs with a pared-down, back-to-nature simple life aesthetic. From time spent on the porch overlooking the water to walking the trails and evenings by the fire pit, this is a get-away-from-it-all haven perfect for solo travelers seeking an escape or couples looking to reconnect. Often featured in magazines, movies, & photoshoots, the cabin is a real honest antique beauty. For years we've privately hosted artists, writers, and musicians who loved staying here and the peaceful, lovely setting on our farm so now we are offering to share it with you.
The location is rural and safe but convenient to Statesboro, Savannah, Metter, Vidalia, Hinesville, and I-16

Our stay at Bliss Hills was stellar! If you’re looking for peace and quiet in a rural setting and a one of a kind rustic log cabin this is it. From phone guidance of how to find the property, greetings at check-in, and advice about things to do in the area our hosts had it covered. Mike and Karen are very accommodating and showed us the very best of southern hospitality. The cabin itself was very simple and very clean and just as described. Highly recommend.

Unplug and breathe...
Sit on the porch and listen to the music of silence. Watching the squirrels play is the only amusement park you'll need. Sit in the corner on the floor and rest against 400-year-old logs that make up the 180-year-old cabin. Let your heart, mind and spirit drift along with the whispers of the cabin & what it has witnessed in that time. The Cherokee are walking by... The powder burning from Civil War battles hangs in the air... Peaceful dreaming. Relax & enjoy. We did. :)

What a great weekend getaway! This cabin is so beautiful along with the farm around it. The hosts were phenomenal and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you want to unwind and relax with no distractions.

Peace and quiet
We spent a weekend here to have a rest. It is so interesting to be in a cabin that old. It is lovely. Sitting on the dock and feeding the fish was a joy. Those are the biggest catfish that I've ever seen. Thak you to our host for a relaxing stay.

Bliss at Bliss Hill Farms
I needed a quiet yet comforting place to stay while in the area. This lovely restored cabin met and exceeded my needs. The surrounding grounds have plenty of places to walk. The large back porch overlooks the pond and makes for a great place to unwind. In the evening I heard owls calling. If you want more activity, there is an adult playground that will test your balance and muscles. Karen is a wonderful hostess and kept in touch asking if I needed anything. Highly recommend this place for those wanting something different.
