The pool was out of order. Our room door had been manipulated before so the key card didn't work correctly. We went through two sets of keys before we were able to successfully open the door. The bathroom wasn't very clean.

This was a great spot for us to stay as we were passing through. We had been warned that the pool was closed when we made our reservation, so we were not surprised but I would still say it was missed. Staff, breakfast and rooms were all very good.

It was a perfectly comfortable hotel. The television in the room had a screen that was not clear, but I did not need it. Be aware, there is train noise at night. The breakfast was acceptable, standard morning fare. I would say, based on the price I paid, expensive for the quality.

This is an older property and they have done their best to keep the facilities upgraded without breaking the bank. In todays world, there is a need for charging stations and more lights and electrical. The bathroom facilities are quite low, as was the style back in the day. Overall, it is a pleasant stay. Beds are comfortable and the home cooked breakfast is good. It is definitely the best place to stay in the area.

As far as Clayton NM goes, this is a grand place to stop and rest. The best breakfast ever! Pool closed was the only downside

Close to where we ate 87 restaurant.Clean and convenient to where we are heading.Front staff was excellent.We couldn’t get WiFi to work so he even came up to our room to help us.Great variety at breakfast!!One downside the pool isn’t working.

Staff was excellent. They took care of an issue we had with our room promptly. The went above and beyond by going to our room after we left to get something our son left so we can get it on our way back through from Colorado. Will be back on our next trip through to Colorado.
