Enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets while sitting next to a camp fire with family and friends. Or maybe sitting under the wrap around porch with a cup of coffee is more your style. Take in the mountains from all directions, and say hello to the countless whitetail deer, turkey, geese, and the occasional bald eagle. Inside, enjoy the wood burning fireplace, and all the luxuries of city living. From wifi, Directv in every room, tankless hot water, stone walk in showers, and just about every appliance you may need, this cabin will ensure you are spending your time relaxing and making memories. There are two private master suites with king size beds and a bunk room with full over queen bunks to sleep even the biggest of kids. Gas grill outside with extra propane tanks ensure you aren’t roughening it more than you want to.

I never wanted to leave
I can’t even put into words how amazing this house was. The house was absolutely perfect. I have never slept so good at a Vrbo. The house was very clean and comfortable. The view was out of this world. Our favorite part were the longhorns. They were so friendly with us and gave us lots of kisses. The point of staying in this house was to see Robbers cave. But we wanted the feel of ranch life. No one wanted to leave when it came time. I think this will be our tradition now, staying at this beautiful farm once a year! Thank you to our host. His instructions were super simple and easy to follow.

I can’t say enough good things about the 1836 Ranch. My family loved it! I felt like our own little ranch for the weekend. The place was clean and well supplied with lots of room! Highly recommend! We’ll be back.

Fantastic Stay
We enjoyed spending a few days at the 1836 Ranch to celebrate New Years. It was just what we needed to relax and recharge, everything was as described. The property was clean, well maintained and comfortable for our group. Christian was a fantastic host and responded quickly to the questions we had prior to and during our stay. Highly recommend!

No complaints! Home was well stocked and very clean. Owner was quick to answer questions and polite. Beautiful property, comfy beds, gorgeous views. We had a great time away with friends. Local grocery store not too far away for forgotten items.

Ranch Getaway
Accommodations were excellent! Second time for us to visit and was even better than the first. Everything one needs, you can find it here - full kitchen, nice furnishings and comfortable living and beautiful access to the outdoors. Kids loved the longhorns and horses. Plenty of land to explore. Great place to get away! Will return for a 3rd time!

Fabulous property, exceeded dreams
Property completely meets expectations. Clean, spacious, thoughtful decor. Kitchen has everything you might need and then some. Property manager is lightning fast responding to any questions. Hand feeding the friendly Longhorns was a highlight and made for fabulous photos. Lots of adventure and cultural experiences just down the road. Would definitely come back.

Excellent Place
We had a great stay at this ranch. The property is very large with 140+ acres. Lots of wildlife on the property with Deer and Turkeys in the morning and evenings. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. The property also has some trails you can walk. We caught several fish in the pond. The cabin was very nice and clean. Better than expected. We will definitely be back.

Great place to get away to! Very nice cabin that sits on a beautiful ranch. Plenty of places to explore, great stocked tank for fishing, and wonderful game/animal watching opportunity. My family had a terrific time soaking it all in! The cabin is spectacular with plenty of room, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a full kitchen open to the family room. Could not ask for more in a country get-away.
