The property is a bit old but looked pleasant. Not all of the lights worked in my room but I didn't need to use them all, anyway. It is located in a nice area with options for eating out nearby and convenience stores in walking distance.

From the moment I walked thru the doors, I was impressed with the Vliiage Inn. It's online photos were a perfect preview of where you'd be staying. I felt comfortable and safe, especially with cameras in each corridor. The weekend breakfast was tasty with an excellent staff attening to your needs. The room was clean, dust free, and the bed comfortable. I would definiteky book again.

There is no elevator! Ask for a room on the main floor if you don’t want to carry your stuff up a steep flight of stairs. Also, rooms smell musty.

We drove all night and arrived before check in time. I was so tired and Ms. Deja at the front desk made life so much easier. Her attention to customer satisfaction and hospitality is becoming of the best customer service experience I’ve had in a while. This place would not function without the amazing staff and service. Pros: Great location, economical, fantastic breakfast and clean. Cons: I never thought I would be the whiner that complained about the beds being uncomfortable, but here we are - they are very firm. Our room happened to be located adjacent to the workout facility. During the day kids were playing in it and making noise. The second night the t.v. (in workout room) played at a loud volume all night. Pros outweighed the cons. I just included more detail for reference. I would recommend for short stays.

This place has a lot of character to it! I loved the rustic feel to it. Beds were a little uncomfortable, the sink in the bathroom wouldn’t go down. The room had a musty smell to it. The floors were wet and damp I had to wear shoes every time I got up or had to go to the bathroom. The front desk staff were really friendly! Breakfast in a bag was a really good idea for people that don’t like getting up early. Overall a okay hotel for the area. They were doing construction in other rooms during early morning hours so that was a little irritating being in a room across the hall. They had a dehumidifier in the bedroom as well.

Locked out but great pool.
Our reservation was from Friday to Monday. On Sunday afternoon it was 101 degrees and we were unable to use our card to enter the guest entrance. One of the housekeeping ladies recognized us and opened the door for us. Then our card wouldn't open our room. We went to the checkin desk and were told that our card had been programmed for Sunday checkout even though they showed Monday. The pool is great. The deep end is 9 ft. Enough lounge chairs and tables to accomodate several guests.

Property was very clean. Room had a dehumidifier in it running constantly. AC blows directly on bed can't adjust the vents. Beds are firm but okay. Several items advertised are not available at this hotel.
