Recently back on VRBO from long term lease. This hideaway cottage/cabin is fully equipped with everything from home. Enjoy the creek sounds from the back porch at night watching the fireflies dance by. Brevard, NC is only 20 minutes away, Dupont State Park is 10 minutes away, Davidson River and Sliding Rock in Brevard is a highlight of Brevard. Pretty Place (Camp Greenville) 10 mins away perfect for wedding ceremonies. Bedrooms, Master has a King Bed on the main floor, Upstairs loft has 2 queens, and bedroom we call Eagle's Nest has a twin bed. Sleeps 7.

What a great place
Long weekend with some lifelong friends. This is a great property, very comfortable and inviting. All my communications with the owners were seamless and all questions answered quickly and completely. Small things add up, and you can tell that the owners have done a lot of little things that add a bit of an upscale feeling to a very comfortable place. I wouldn't hesitate to plan another trip here.

Adorable Cabin
We stayed here for a couple days while hiking in DuPont Forest. The cabin is very nice and has plenty of space for small groups. Jan was very responsive and easy to reach by text. We would definitely stay again.

Girls getaway
The property was perfect for our girls trip. It had everything that would be needed. Communication with the owners was great. They were very prompt in notifying us with an issue they were having with one of the toilets before we arrived. My only suggestion would be to sharpen the knives or add a sharpener to the kitchen utensils.

Gorgeous Mountain Escape
Our family had a great time at this wonderful cabin. Just far enough off the beaten path to feel truly remote, but took us less than 30 minutes to get into Brevard for some groceries we forgot to buy beforehand. Hiked some, but spent much of the weekend beside the fire.

Wonderful property on a hillside wooded lot. Lots of wildlife. The cabin was very clean and filled with amenities. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Just remember that there is no cell coverage in the area around the house.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful area
We had the most wonderful stay - 3 weeks in the Carolina Mountain Wilderness. This place is surrounding with parks full of waterfalls and windy roads, woods and trails and places to wander. We also explored Brevard, Asheville, Hendersonville and they were full of great art galleries and shops and restaurants. This is a 5 star vacation place in 5 star lodgings

The Bear Creek cabin is just precious! We were so comfortable and had everything we needed to cook every night. It is right next to Caesars Head State park which has tons of sights, trails, and falls! 6 miles from Pretty Place which was the inspiration for this trip for me! Great great experience!

My go to vacation home!
This property was absolutely amazing!!! It was clean and easily accessible with wonderfully written instructions on everything including beautiful places to visit while there! It was peaceful and made for the absolute perfect vacation! Everything we wanted to see and do was easily within a close distance! Getting in and out of the property was easy! Definitely going to be planning my next vacation and this will be my go to home to stay again and again!! Already recommending this one to my friends who are coming up shortly!
