The Station @ Firmstone Manor

An old service station that has been fully renovated with all the modern conveniences is located beside the historic Firmstone Manor built in 1873. The Station was built in the 1930s, it has central A/C, heat, and high-speed secure internet, and has two levels, two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, another with a queen-size bed, a bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower, a full kitchen with refrigerator, range, and dishwasher. The Station also features a spacious family room with a dining table. You can use your Roku guest account for the 4-k streaming TVs in each of the bedrooms and family room. Dog-friendly with an additional fee. Kickback, relax and enjoy our 16-acre property. The area around us is ideal for wineries, breweries, hiking, biking, and fishing. Firmstone Manor, a Victorian home built in 1873 by Harry Firmstone, also sits on the property and is one of the largest surviving homes in Alleghany County. We are in the process of restoring Firmstone Manor and the rest of the cottages on the property.

Spot-on
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the place. It’s very comfortable and accessible, with spot-on decor. We’ve been traveling for the holidays and out of all the places we’ve stayed, this one was our favorite. We’ll definitely be back.

Great Attention to Detail! Love the Area!
This was probably one, if not the cleanest VRBO we have ever been in. The attention to detail was remarkable. Communication was stellar and we certainly enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to be back in the area and stay here again. Thanks for everything.
