"We were in town for a couple days in November for a youth hockey tournament in St. Albans. The location and general area are nice with many offerings for food and shopping. Beautiful lake house as advertised, and very spacious! Mattresses are firm. I need a fairly dark room for sleeping and the window treatments did a pretty good job blocking light. My family enjoyed our time there and are considering a trip next summer!"

We spent a little too much time at the ice cream shop, the breakfast place and bakery in town, but all our walking helped with that. "The Ham Fam Lakehouse was lovely, well appointed, comfortable, and the lake view was fabulous! We enjoyed the gas fireplace on chill mornings, and the sunset view in the evenings. The lake was easily accessible and we enjoyed walking the driftwood strewn beach. We had a few minor concerns the first days, but they were immediately addressed and remedied by the management team. Great job! We thoroughly enjoyed our eight-day stay! We would definitely return another time. "
