  • Whoever said don't feed the animals never met this guy. Weeds, grass, or even fingers (Almost!!!), anything that fit in his mouth he would chomp down on. Hillcrest park had its 3rd annual family fun day, always the closest Saturday to the start of summer, and all admission was free! The park, zoo, and splash pad (great for the 100 degree weather we got), were all open to the public. Free tacos too. Bet this tortoise would've chomped down on those too.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this property was! I rented a suite which suited me and my grown children while in Clovis. The breakfast was a major plus and there was always a fresh pot of coffee throughout the day. The grounds were well kept with a swimming pool fire pit and BBQ grill if needed. I would stay here again.

The room was clean and smelt fresh, the bed was comfortable. The shower was very nice. The staff was ultra friendly. Our room was the floor above the pool and other guest were playing from 10:30 and 11PM.

Pool was dirty and water did not look clean. The couch was a 2 person couch in a 2 bedroom suite and cushions were wore out. Not very comfortable for a 3 person stay. Breakfast was good and hotel is clean. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was good too.

Beautiful location, only issue was our room window wouldn’t close so it was a little scary. We were on the third floor so it was fine and after driving for 8 hrs I just wanted to rest. Breakfast options were amazing!

Nice staff and convenient location

I love this little gem of a hotel. It’s very near my Mother’s house and the staff takes good care of us. My only complaint was that the bathroom floor was not clean when I checked in. It was too late to mention it that night but I called the desk the next morning to let them know the room needed attention. I was assured they would schedule a complete cleaning even through the room was only scheduled to be “refreshed”. The floor of the bathroom and the spots on the nightstand were untouched when I returned after the “cleaning”.

I told them three times I wanted a late check out. I put it on the reservation request, I called the property directly and I told them when we checked in. When we came back to the hotel to check out shortly after noon, the maid was trying to access our room even though the do not disturb was clearly on the door. The girl at the desk had no idea we had asked for late check out. Also, the extra pet cleaning fee is outrageous. It is a lovely hotel, with very nice rooms, but I will not be staying again.
