"We stayed over New Year 2024/5. The hotel is stunning and the refurbishment has transformed it into a fabulous place to stay. The decor and the landscaping is beautiful and it is set in a perfect place on the beach close to all amenities but still quiet. The breakfast buffet is faultless and is as good as it gets. The gym was excellent and the gentleman who runs it is a major asset to the hotel. The only downsides were that the hotel turns it's aircon off in winter so you can't get the room...

Cons: Shower was leaking into room (had to use a towel to stop water entering the room), toilet continued to fill after flushing and full (quite annoying), there is no lift so if you are on the top floor there are 43 step stairs to climb. "Fabulous reception staff who provided an excellent service before we arrived - they offered to arrange taxi pick up at the airport which was so helpful. Room was huge with 4 beds for the 2 of us. Breakfast was included and was substantial to set us up for the day. Shower was hit and miss regarding water temperature which was not constant. Bath towels were basic but had seen better days (one had a mark on it). The in-bathroom toiletries: 2 shampoo sachets (hair fall for men) and 2 small soaps....

Not close to the busy part of the beach, but right on the beach - and since there is everything you need inside the resort itself, its a good option. Food quality is decent, variety is big. No complaints on the variety - icecream stations were always busy and you had to wait. The pools were too cold to enjoy when we stayed, although there were children who were in the water.
